this and the hawes signing should set the market for green and bass, wouldn't mind if green got 2 years 13 million like hawes and bass got 3 years 18 million

Would Ainge have been better off chasing this guy for around that money than trying to keep Bass right now?

It would be embarrassing if Jeff Green got more than that.

You mean, instead of signing Terry?

No, I meant as in renouncing Bass and picking up Beasley or doing some sort of S&T. I think Terry is a good pick-up. It would also be nice to have Beasley start at the 4.

I doubt Minnesota would be interested in a S&T. I think the only way to get Beasley would be via the MLE.

On second thought, Beasley sounds so much nicer than Terry with  MLE. Then Ray would be more inclined to be back and we have amazing versatility with Beasley.

Beasley is far more talented, but I'd rather go into battle with Bass any day of the week.  For all his talent, Beasley seems to make teams worse when he is out there.  You know what you are going to get from Bass.  Beasley is more likely to go 4-17 than he is to score 25pts.  And he is certainly a huge minus on defense.
