If he is getting the mid-level what does that leave for a center???

I am guessing Melo, KG, Stiesmsa if we sign him and perhaps Hollins.

  Wilcox would be better than Hollins (or probably Steimsma).

Danny said that he expects Jared Sullinger to play some center this year as well..

so, im guessing KG, stiemsma, melo, sullinger, wilcox all will get time at the 5.

centers are just too expensive these days

Sullinger was only a college center

Big Baby played center for the C's.  Reggie Evans played center.  Jason Maxiell has played center.  Chuck Hayes has played plenty of center.

While you don't want to rely on an undersized center, these days, you can definitely get away with it for stretches.  Considering how few and far between quality, true centers are, teams have realized, you are better off playign a quality PF at center, than a terrible center, just because he is 4 inches taller.

Good move... improves bench and leaves option to trade AB open if the right deal comes along.

As for Center - I assume KG will play Center, but they will do the old SA "Duncan is power forward and this other guy is the C" thing so that KG can say he's a PF.
