Chris Broussard said that Brooklyn offer Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries, Marshown Brooks, and 3 future 1st round picks to Orlando for Dwight Howard. Now humphries is a UFA and have to sign before the deal to work. Orlando would be foolish not to accept this. Dont let him walk and get nothing in return like Phoenix with Amare and Toronto with Bosh. Those 2 teams are still hurting after letting them walk for nothing. Nets are also looking for a 3rd team to help n the deal.
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

If this trade happens...

C--Dwight Howard
PF-Kirilenko
SF-Gerald Wallace
SG-Joe Johnson
PG-Deron Williams
Bench
Reggie Evans, Jason kidd, and Teletubbie

now that if Williams, Kidd, and Kirilenko signs with the Nets..Not a bad lineup.

1st round picks mean nothing, Nets will top5 team in the NBA. Humphries is FA, Lopez is FA. Which means giving them both huge long terms controls.

Houston made most sense. Take Dwight off the books, and get young talent on rookie contract.

I agree. That's a pretty poor offer.  Role players who combine for 0 All-Star appearances and 3 low and likely worthless draft picks.

I'd trade him to Houston or Los Angeles or just wait until the deadline rather than take that junk.

That looks like six names just to clog my roster.

No Kirilenko for Nets. They used their MLE on Teletovic.

Rumors that the Nets will try to acquire Ilyasova via a sign-and-trade with Milwaukee. For Humphries, presumably?

Yuck...Lopez & Humphries?  No way I would pay them the amount they'll be making.  I can't see why Orlando would want either player.  I'd rather just let Howard walk if it came down to it.

If Orlando does take these players, they darn well better make the Nets take Turkeyglue.

Why wouldn't houston and and orlando agree to something like

lowry
martin
patterson
scola

for

turkoglu
howard

then the rockets could resign dragic camby and lee plus a FA with the MLE and make a run for it and orlando could get a way better package than the nets offer

u just traded Houston starting lineup. Howard with alot of rookies and Dragic and Lee probably wouldnt make the playoffs

The Magic are screwed for the next few years, not matter what happens with Dwight. At best case scenario, they'll get a borderline all star and some picks.

Likely scenario is either Dwight walks, or they get a few solid starters/young guys and picks.

I say go for it. Lopez is deadly at times, offensively. He needs to step up in every other aspect of his game, though. Marshawn is a potential high scorer, and Humphries is all around solid.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Not exactly.  If they were to re-sign Dragic (or replace him with another PG), then you'd have:

Dragic, Lee, Parsons, Morris, Asik, Turkoglu, and Howard in your rotation. That's 7 men out of a nine man rotation.  Might be able to add a free agent or two.  And then you have the three rookies.

not sure they could do the asik deal if unless they could still not pick up livingston option and trade a few minor contracts away.
