I am just a little confused. First of all KG said multiple times he prefered to play the PF spot. He didn't liked the C that much. But then after he resigned I red on sites like csnne that he is coming back as a Center. That he understands playing C gave his career a boost.

I like him at Center, I think it's crucial for our team to let KG play Center. We got a mismatch every single match when he is at C. He is just a top 3 center in the league. Since he moved there just before the allstarbreak 2012 he started to play his best ball since the 08 championship.

Can someone clear this one for me, what position is Kevin Garnett gonna start the game? So what position he is playing most minutes?

I'm just going to go on record and say it would be a terrible idea to move him back to PF and it's not a viable option for regular or post season success.

By the way, I haven't heard KG specifically say he didn't want to play there since he was moved to center. Can anyone provide a link for that?

I think that they'll find the best player they have to pair with him on the front line. If that's a center, he'll play pf. If it's a pf, he'll play center.

I'm concerned too. What if moving to center had a lot to do with our (and his) success? But then again there's that JO factor. He sucked so hard.

As for the source, unfortunately I can't help you out. I think I remember seeing it somewhere.

I don't really think it matters.  We improved last year when JO was taken off the floor and we paired KG and Bass, along with AB getting 30+ minutes at the 2.

It really depends on who starts with KG.  If it's Wilcox, then yes KG is a PF.  If it is Bass, then yes KG is a C.  Either way he will be doing what he did last year.

Agree with this.  If they can bring Camby aboard (for example), KG will be the starting PF.  If they can't acquire a true starting 5, KG will remain at the 5.  Regardless, I think he'll play a lot at the 5, next to Bass/Green  (obviously if one or both of them re-sign).  Smallish-ball, with KG at the 5, seems to be our best course of action.

He'll do whatever is best for the team, depends entirely on what big men we fill the roster out with.

I strongly suspect that he'll still play 50% or more of his minutes at center.
