Moore might not be back. It's all dependent on how he performs in Summer League, per Ainge.

Wilcox has been cleared for contact and full court work.

Don't really see room on the roster for Moore. Would rather give his spot to a veteran backup guard. If it comes down to Dooling or Moore, I take Dooling.

Celtics no longer have Wilcox's Bird Rights, since they released him last season. It will take some of their MLE money to resign him, unless he's willing to settle for veteran minimum. Not sure if he'll be back.

Pietrus won't be back.  He signed a minimum deal with us, right?  He'll get an MLE offer (and we don't have Bird rights).

I'd really hate to see Quisy go.  He's too versatile, too valuable on the bench.

I think we keep Ray and sign Green, plus the rooks, JJJ, and Moore for starters.

Rondo/Moore
Bradley/Ray
Pierce/Green
JJJ/Sullinger
KG/Melo

That's 10 players, room for 5.  In a 9-player rotation, there are 6 vets, so there's only room for 3.  If Sullinger is in the rotation, there's only room for 2 players:  perhaps 2 bigs and maybe a veteran point for insurance.

So now the FA sillyness begins, and I'd be looking (again) to sign a big guy.

What about something like this?
Re-sign Green, Ray and Stiemsma
Sign Camby
Sign and Trade Bass for Kirk Hinrich or Jason Terry

C- Camby / Stiemsma / Melo
PF- KG / Sullinger / Johnson
SF- Pierce / Green / Joseph
SG- Bradley / Ray / Moore
PG- Rondo / Hinrich / Vet Min PG(perhaps Dooling?)

Now obviously KG would get some minutes at C, Green would get minutes at PF, Even Hinrich with Rondo, etc. so guys the younger guys wouldnt have to play a ton of minutes.  I'd like to see something like this for the next 2 seasons and then watch the big three walk off into the sunset together.  We'd be left with cap space and a nucleus of Rondo, Bradley, Green, Sully, Melo and possibly one or two of the other youngs surprises us (Johnson, Moore, Joseph).
What do you think?  Is it possible?
Mock Deadline Denver Nuggets
Nurcic/Henson
Patterson/Bennett/Arthur
Ross/Budinger
Miller/Hunter/Foye
Rubio/Ennis/Bayless

Hate to say it, but I...nah not going to say it.

Now that it appears that the Mavs are interested in Bass, perhaps a sign and trade is in order

S/T Bass for S/T Terry.

Celtics keep the MLE to go after a big (CAMBY, Kaman or Humphries), or two (Beasley and/or  Randolph).

Krstic may still be an option.

I have to admit this salary cap thing confuses me.  Having used the mle on terry, how much space do we have not counting cap holds before we get to 74 mil?

Just trying to figure how much we can offer ray and green and anyone else
