I know it's early but personally I am very excited about the celtics prospects for the 2012-13 season. i have not been this positive/confident about the c's since the day Kevin Garnett was traded.
Why? Depth(and of course our elite defence)

I trust Danny will bring in quality role players. Even as I think of worst case scenarios, our bench will be much stronger then the past season. and at best, we are the 2nd best team in the leauge.

Everyone has there own 'best case' scenario, mine would be something lile: resigning Ray, Jeff green, and steamboat, and then adding Camby (at this point id sign either bass or wilcox depending on the numbers), and either j.terry or d.green. and cutting Moore to sign a solid point guard (what ever happend to eric maynor?)

I am with you on this, I am feeling great about our team!

But have to wait a lil for Ray his decision. Get Ray and we still got the MLE which allows us to land another player. If that happens we are way deeper then last year. It all will come down at HEALTH (KG, PP, AB, Allen) if they are full healthy and we don't lose Rondo for the season.

I am confident we got a shot at a title, atleast ECF again.

We are probably going to do what we have done for the past 5 seasons:  infuriate people with inconsistent up and down performance, force threads titled "blow it up," make Celticsblog posters cry about the Perkins trade, get multiple Rondo trade rumors from Chris Broussard, make Doc lose his voice, win 50+ games, win the Atlantic division, get a top-4 seed in the playoffs, go to the ECF finals, and when all is said and done be one of the best teams in the NBA.  Again.
