You're crazy if you think green is getting 8million. The guys hasn't proven anything yet and he is already on record saying he'd take a discount to play here. Hes getting no more than 6 and id say 4-5mill

And that's saying something about Crawford, considering it sounded like you really didn't like Mayo either.

Bradley is going to be out until december apparantly...so whomever we get is going to start..

the thing is, Jason Terry can handle the ball/run the offense...so he can effectively back up rondo(and play with Ray on the court)

Just wonder where you heard that? It's the first time I've heard it.

I think Mayo is the best option.  Maybe try a S&T with Bass going to Memphis and Mayo ending up in Boston.  I like Terry too, but I would like to see younger guys fill out the roster.

I would want Terry more but he's probably staying in Dallas.  Mayo is going to get overpaid and I don't like his heart or fire.

Crawford would be a good fit for the right money so I choose him.

One example of 15 player contracts that stays under the $74 million "apron."

11,000,000    Rondo
 1,630,800    Bradley
 1,089,240    JJJ
   762,195    Moore
 1,029,389    Stiemsma
 2,134,700    (2) Rookie 1sts
11,000,000    KG
 6,000,000    Allen
 8,000,000    Green
 6,500,000    Bass
 5,000,000    MLException
 2,000,000    BiException
    473,604   Joseph
73,410,273

No MP, KD, or CW, but you could get them too with the BAE and by splitting the MLE and letting one of the sophs or rookies go.

Odds Pierce renegotiates for the betterment of the team?

I think this is a pretty solid list with the exception I think Ray & Bass may get a bump and Green will be where they get it. I would be happy with this as our starting roster and think JET in the MLE would give us the best chance as he can play backup for both G positions, something I think we would have to have as I don't really like AB there.

He can't, this isn't the NFL.

I'm starting to think that the MLE will not be enough to get Terry- although he's an UFA he's said that he will give Dallas the chance to match any offer, and unless Dallas gets absurdly lucky by signing D-Will than they will probably be willing to give up 5 m for Terry.
OJ Mayo would be an interesting player to add but I'm pretty sure the only way we could afford him is through a Brandon Bass sign-and-trade, and I doubt that a team with Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph would want/need BB.
I think Crawford might have to do, not because he's the best option, only because I don't see us being able to sign any of these other players.
If we can afford to add 2 SGs [which it looks like we're trying to do, if you believe Doc/Danny], I think it might be worth taking a look at Kirk Hinrich as a depth option behind Ray and AB at SG and Rondo at the point.  Having a back-up SG who could play some PG would be great because a standard back-up PG who'll play no more than 10 mpg is not worth spending more than the min on.

It's not official until the 11th. Remember Hedo Turkoglu a couple years ago with Portland and then Toronto?

Terry is a great signing.   A decent scorer and shooter and wiry defender.
