We should be at the top. The only place he would start is here.

Not sure about that. He definitely wouldn't start in New York, obviously. Dallas started Ian Mahinmi or Brendan Haywood in every game, I'd imagine he'd have a solid opportunity to start there. San Antonio is a toss-up, I don't know if they'd want Duncan to start at the 4 with Camby or if they liked Boris Diaw out there. He would clearly be the starter in Miami. And it's not even guaranteed he would start here if Bass came back.

I think the dollar amounts offered is the more interesting question, although I'd eliminate New York as they don't have playing time or money to offer. The others are still prime candidates.

Not interested. Too old.  Want to see Hollins running the floor instead.  Fantastic energy and young legs to keep up with Rondo.  Highlight reel dunks too.

Agreed. Someone old and that can play is always better than someone young who can't.

  • GOT IT!!!
Old or not Camby is still a good defender and elite rebounder. He would help pulg a hole for the C's. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being another BOS/MIA decision. C's can offer him more money.

i dont see him going to the knicks or spurs. heat dont have money, that leaves the mavs and celtics

we can offer him the most money or close to it, we're much better contenders than dallas, and also he will get the most playing time.

He obviously doesn't care about money, but he will choose the Mavs in the blink of an eye if they sign Deron or DH, or both.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

The thing about Dwight in Dallas is just a rumor, but Deron is choosing between Dallas and Brooklyn.

Camby would be perfect for us at this point in the game and I think he would love to return to the boston area.

I would love Camby on the team was one of the best rebounders I believe last year, veteran who Doc knows exactly how to handle, makes too much sense.

Yeah, that'd go against the whole legit contender thing. Especially strange since they just signed Asik to that offer sheet.
