If so that is pathetic by Ray. Just be a man and say what you want to do. No need to play games. If we wait on him it is suicide for us because all the other so-called replacements will be snatched up.

I don't see any of those other teams having much of chance for Ray. It's BOS or MIA all the way.

I hope he realizes he most likely won't be starting for either team.

For a guy who has given everything he has to this team for the last five years, you really give him no respect.  Do you honestly think that a person of Ray's caliber would do what you are suggesting to Doc and the rest of the team?  I think NOT. Give me a break, better still, give him a break. My thought is that he will resign with the Celtics for this year and one more. At least Danny knows how valuable a free agent he is.

Nah, Ray will decide within a week.

It is pretty clear which teams are after him, it is pretty clear how much money is on the table from each team, and now he just needs to decide. It is probably really just between MIA and BOS, and the questions are: do I take less money and uproot my family for a (arguably) better shot at a ring in Miami, or do I take more money, keep my kids in their current schools, and stay in Boston?

He'll decide pretty soon, and I'd be shocked if he doesn't re-sign with Boston (assuming the rumored 2 year $12M deal is correct).

Way Doc is ...Ray has a decent chance to start again over AB , depends on which one rehabs the best.

Ray is playing off the bench for most condender teams.

He has Doc on his side ...but probally not Rondo....I suspect Rondo wants AB in the game with him.

Sadly I would say that the longer Ray takes to make up his mind, the more it favors the Miami Heat.

That is what I'm kind of getting at we can't wait forever and the longer the wait is well have to make move elsewhere, Ray is no dummy he knows this.

I think he said that so jason terry actually takes our offer and consideration of him seriously.

if you were jason and you knew how bad the celtics wanted ray allen back right now, the risk and chances of them renegging on a deal is there.
