Celtics can't turn down Kristic they need bigs he was good not great on offensive rebounds and with bird rights pay him, enter this next season fully reloaded. I know Doc doesn't like to play rookies but when it comes to Bigs rotate them use their fouls to protect our skilled bigs. In pursuit of a banner pay the price if we go over salary cap another banner is worth it.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
CSKA Moscow coach Giovanni Papini:

"When the news about our €44M budget came out, the management of CSKA Mosocw got mad. We will have one of the best budgets in Euroleague but not that amount. And we start the new season with the need of replacing four players: Nenad Krstic, Andrei Kirilenko, Alexey Shved and Ramunas Siskauskas (who retired). "

Could be an interesting fallback option since we have his Bird rights. He did average 21.7 ppg and 7.1 rpg on 58% shooting in the Euroleague.

Wow, 21.7 ppg? I know it's the euroleague, but that is pretty impressive. I have no idea what he would cost, though.

Guessing that should be 12.7ppg. Not 21.7ppg.

14.2 points per game in Euroleague.

I also wouldn't put too much stock into those statistics, although they are nice to see. Here's who has led the league in scoring lately: Igor Rakocevic, Linas Kleiza, Igor Rakocevic, Marc Salyers, Juan Carlos Navarro, Drew Nicholas, Charles Smith.

Rakocevic played minimally for Minnesota one year, unsuccessfully, Kleiza has been alright in the league, Salyers never made it to the NBA, Navarro was solid for a year in the NBA, Nicholas never made it here and Smith had a good career but led the Euros after he had declined severely. My point is that it's nice to see, but it doesn't guarantee Krstic a big contract or the same level of production here.
