It sounds like Green has his heart set on returning to the Celts, so I'd focus on Ray.  There's seemingly more immediate competition for his services.

Green is a very good player and is young. We need help at the 3. Plus that Perkins trade would be the worst ever if we didnt sign Green back, lol

Sign Green. In reality center position is the hardest. Ray could be replaced; but would be a disaster if he went to Miami. Could see him taking the MLE at Phoenix (year round golf). Need a center; but could offer Ray 6mil (12 over 2 years) not a penny more.

  I don't get the point of this. Danny doesn't have to choose between signing Ray or Green, and it's not like he can't conduct two negotiations at once.
