I would think that , with the $$$ being comparable, the consistency of medical facilities available for his son could be a factor vs the Bradley "jealousy"
This has to be a huge factor for Ray.

This would be 1 sick team, with maybe Pietrus back for SG/SF position and maybe Dooling I think we can compete for a title.

I would LOVE to resign ray and use the MLE to sign kaman

Rondo/Moore
AB/Rayray
Pierce/green
Bass/Sullinger
Garnett/Kaman

is a pretty deep and solid team

So with KG's deal, if we assume Ray takes the 2 year, 12 million offer, and we re-sign Green at about 7-8 million/year, what would that leaves us with to spend on FAs? Just the MLE and vet mins?

i feel its too much but seeing wat these other free agents are gettin it aint too outrageous we'll see wat he does i still expect him to not come back

What I think it is, is evidence that when KG agreed to reasonable $$ to come back, DA and owners committed to going all-in on winning now.

The offer is fair for a 37yo guy coming off ankle surgery and really a role player, a valuable one, but a role player.  Get Ray and then still have Bird Rights, the MLE and the LLE (or whatever they are now calling it) to land Green, a center and add depth.  It's an aggressive move to make for Ray and I hope he takes it.

If Ray Allen is entertaining the Heat, it's only to prevent the Celtics from completely low balling him.  I agree with doubling the Heats offer.  MIA or OKC a conference final team would make a push. Sign all our player to Bird exceptions worse case well have trade bait. The only free agent player The C's are really intrested in that could help the rebuild is Mayo or even Beasley.

Umm, no thanks. Ray can take his ungrateful ego down to South Beach, but it would be best if he accepts a sign and trade to land us a young scorer while allowing us to preserve the MLE. Call me callous, but I'd much rather see a younger scorer than watching Ray not be able to guard anyone, waste shot clock coming off multiple screens, and commanding an exorbitant salary. Some of you guys are too delusioned by nostalgia, we need an athletic 2.

We have an athletic 2, his name is Avery Bradley. We need a shooter off the bench, it will either be Ray or one of Mayo, Young, Terry, Crawford. I would prefer Ray and allow us to use the MLE on a big.

Awesome! Who do you have in mind? Mayo and his 12 ppg? Or maybe Jason Terry? Crawford? See where I'm going with this? There is no young scorer on the market this year that would make sense for this team.

Ray love his team mates. People say him and The Wizard known as Rajon Rondo had their run ins but guys let not forget these two are as close as brothers. Ray taught Rajon how to be a professional. Never mind PP and KG are his close pals too. I mean you have a coach that you love to play for with a gm who is on par with him. It's only logical to come back home and play that role to help raise banner 18.

Ray, take the $12 million for two years and finish your career as a Celtic.  It's the right thing to do.

Accept your role as a sniper off the bench.  Never mind accept it, relish it.  There's no room for the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mentality.  Let's go all in to try to beat 'em.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

WOW.

Anyone watching NBATV?

David Aldridge, a pretty reputable source, just mentioned in conversation with Rick Kamla and Dennis Scott that PHX is going to go hard after our Ray, in an effort to keep Nash.

That backcourt would be a bit long in the tooth, but wow I think they'd be one of the better backcourts in the NBA.

Too bad he is coming back to BOS. Sign that 12 mil contract, Ray!

If true, that would be one of the worst defensive backcourts in the NBA.
