Surprising that they are pursuing Asik so hard after pulling out of the Gortat chase a few years ago. They must have regretted that decision.

I feel like Asik is overhyped on this blog. Solely because he's an above mediocre C, and we need an above mediocre C. I'd take him, no doubt. But he will be vastly overpaid for what I'm predicting will be an underwhelming career, relative to the hype.

8 mill a bit much for a guy who averaged a foul every seven minutes and only averaged 14 minutes last year. Also it must be back loaded cause there are salary restrictions first one or two years.

I like asik, he was productive when he played but if he averages 30 minutes you'll be lucky
