I've come to realize that anyone on this forum could do as good as job as Blakely. His only real quality is that he tweets a lot.

Yeah.  No sources whatsoever.

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
I call him A. Sherrod Barely. He barely has any connects or knowledge.

I do like him though. I met him a couple times and he's a pleasant dude.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Pass on Lewis, he's got the Vince Carter disease only worse.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

I dunno, I think on a winning team with a big role off the bench he'd be pretty sweet, especially for the mini MLE 3 million or even the 5 million.

He'd stretch the floor and if Ray's gone we'll need some 3 point shooters. He can also guard Bosh or Lebron in the playoffs, and Battier. He's got size and he's not lazy or a scrub, just got overpaid so everyone remembers how he destroyed Orlandos caproom for all those years.
He isn't a bad rebounder either. He is like Jeff Green a lot but he's still a threat on offense and can hit jumpshots which is what we do.

I have no probs with a 6 10 guy that can nail the 3 and play decent rotation defense.

With Ray gone, the more 3 point shooters we can get the better.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I agree with everything you said. Off the bench, paired with Jeff Green and a SG like Crawford or Mayo the Celtics would have a 2nd unit that would be very tough to match up with.

I've always hated Rashard Lewis as a player. If anything I hope he signs with Miami.  He is the definition of a stiff in my book.

Lewis was a borderline All-Star type guy right up until he tested positive for PEDs, then became irrelevant basically overnight.  I'm sure that's a total coincidence though.  Pass.

I just realized that OJ Mayo tested positive for DHEA and was suspended for 10 games like Lewis:-))

Smitty77

This from Wikipedia:

Legality[edit] United StatesDHEA is legal to sell in the United States as a dietary supplement. It is currently grandfathered in as an "Old Dietary Ingredient" being on sale prior to 1994. DHEA is specifically exempted from the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 1990 and 2004 [36]

Amazing that the NBA would ban a LEGAL substance and then really not test for HGH (at least not very diligently!!).

Hornets waive Rashard Lewis, Is this a good option for C´s?

I´m reading that Hornets waive Lewis, I think this player can be a good option for the C´s, a veteran player and if he´s in good shape...

 What do you think?

Wouldn't have a problem at all with RLewis. Stretch four who is a decent rebounder and average defender. Would get a lot of nice shots with rondo.

Wouldn't give him more than a year, maybe two for a couple mill a year but he will likely get more elsewhere.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I'd sign him to the Bi-Annual exception, or the vet min but no more. Maybe being on a contender would allow him to play like he did when Orlando was making deep playoff runs.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
