Where do we think he'll end up?

Could help a contender as a role player, can score a bit.

Hearing that Jameer Nelson ihas informed Magic he is opting out.

Between him and Sessions...I wonder if they're just trying to leach onto a big contract after the market with D-Will and Nash clears up...its a bad gamble...

It's entirely possible that he resigns in Orlando. I think they still want him there.

Nelson kinda stinks.  Is he really gonna get more than he would have this year (8 mil)?

Not per year. But maybe a three or four year deal in the $15-$20 mil range? No real idea.

Lots of hatred for Nelson here. He's a solid second tier PG who has the knack for hitting big shots and stepping up in big moments. I can see him getting 5/$30m from a team needing stable PG play. Maybe he will end up in Brooklyn if Williams signs elsewhere.

Good luck to the team giving him a multi-year deal starting at $8m per.

He's safely out of the second tier. He's an atrocious defender - his team is better with him off the court even though his backup is horrible and he plays almost all of his minutes with Howard. Here's the best way to describe Nelson - he has never averaged more than six assists per game and he has played pretty much his entire career with Dwight Howard. Rondo would average 18.
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

He is a shell of what he once was which was not that great to begin with. No thanks.

He is a lazy bum* telling AB  "no mas"  after AB was abusing him with hi intensity defense,   streaky shooter,  worthless defensive player.  :(

Don't want his type on the C's

if im the magic, I would go hard after Steve Nash...he nearly brought that poor Suns team to the playoffs this past year.

Nash/Howard in the pick and roll would be deadly

Jameer Nelson resigns with Orlando. Terms undisclosed, but it's rumored to be a three-year deal.

Considering he opted out of a deal that would pay him around $8.6 million, I'm guessing he gets around double that over the course of the new contract.

Orlando has the worst management.  How about you get a real PG?  If Dwight stays there or doesn't.

Jameer was pretty bad last year, wonder if he can bounce back at all at his point. Scary to think he's 30 already.
