Felger just brought this up on his show. He said what if Boston is trying to trade up and get Austin Rivers so they can theN trade one of Austin Rivers or more likely Bradly along with Bass and future picks for Josh Smith

So maybe 21,22 and Bobcats pick next year to get to around 10-12

then

Bass,Bradley, 2 future 1sts for Smith

PG: Rondo
SG: Rivers
SF: PP
PF: Smith
 C: KG

Does anyone else here remember being in little league when your coach kept putting his terrible son in to pitch in big games?

not a bad lineup but why would the hawks settle for future first round picks when they can get more now?

Nah!  I can believe that the C's are trying to trade up. I can believe that that leaks out. I cannot believe the C's are going to leak out who they are trading up for. This is half-baked speculation on bits and pieces of things that somebody heard, read, and put together in their head.

Q: "Danny are you trying to move up?"
A: "If we can get the guy we want we would try. We always look at every possibility."
Q: "So, Danny, would you go after Austin Rivers?"
A: "Oh, I don't think we could get high enough to get Austin."
Q: "But you like Austin don't you?"
A: "Of course! I think he's going to be a very good player."

From that I could report, "The Celtics want to move up. Danny really likes Austin Rivers and if they can move up high enough they would take him."

That would be bad reporting, but there is a lot more bad reporting in sports than good reporting. So, if this got out and got retweeted and
re-written, all of a sudden you have multiple sources all reporting the same fantasy...and a rumor with legs is born.

Seeing as my dad coached my little league team, I have no idea what you're talking about.

That's a great line up, problem is that KG won't play center which is pretty aggrivating considering he's a much better C than PF at this point in his career.

Yes!!!  My sons coaches kid litteraly started crying when he couldn't pitch so he didn't play the field that inning.

Then they let him bat and next time at field he was pitching, And he was terrible. :(  I'd like to tell you that I said nothing but well I couldn't help myself.  lol

Being from Ct and being a avid UCONN fan, the thought of drummond in green is dangerous. Think Al Jeff, but without the touch around the rim....and then some.
If danny wants to build around rondo for the future (which i hope to God he doesnt, but i digress)...can A Rivers and rondo really play together?

I think if you bring in a rebounder and defender of Josh Smith's caliber you can convince KG to play C again.

Problem now is that he is basically our one post player and he has to carry virtually all of that load.

I guess it makes sense if we move bradley in a package for Smith but otherwise I dont understand why we trade up for Rivers. I would see rivers traded in a package for smith. Does Rivers have the potential to be as good on defense as bradley has shown? Still if this happens im ok with bradley bass and future picks for smith but i dont tihnk the hawks would be. Say it somehow works out however. Im in the camp that we get mayo somehow as well...

Rondo/dooling
Mayo/rivers
Pierce/petey
Smith/jjj
KG/steamah

Still need big man depth though. Kaman?

I'd rather have Terrance Ross
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Sources say Boston would be willing to part with both their Nos. 21 and 22 picks, but it's believed that teams in the top 10 want more than that. And the Celtics, sources say, are struggling to offer more because they refuse to include promising guard Avery Bradley in draft-night trade talks and lack other assets to sweeten the pot.

Looks like Danny doesn't plan on trading Bradley on draft night. Just take Royce White! he has top ten talent too and is a better play maker and rebounder than Rivers
