Assuming that the Cs don't have there sites locked onto a particulate player that they plan on moving up for, I expect the 21st pick to be a reactionary pick to the rest of the first round.

Based on current mock it his very plausible that one of the following players fall to #21

1. Sullinger
2. Perry Jones
3. Terrance Jones

Whom ever falls would likely be the Cs pick at #21. If know one falls I would figure A Nicholson is the pick.

At #22 the Cs will likely go BPA. I expect the following guys to be available and in consideration.

1. Jeff Taylor
2. Quincy Miller
3. Will Barton
4. Evan Fournier
5. Doron Lamb
6. John Jenkins

I also wouldnt be shocked in a 22 + 51 + future 2nd for 24 + 34 trade goes down. The Cs have looked at a lot of players projected in the early 2nd. If that trade did happen I would expect the above list to hold true for #24 and #34 to be one of the following.

1. Fab Melo
2. Festus Ezeli
3. Kyle O'Quinn
4. Robert Sacre

At 21 sullinger is a no brainer, you have to figure that more than half of these guys don't even have 1 productive year in the league, if the knock on him is that he only has 8 good years as opposed to 12...who really cares? Hes a lottery talent that's a pretty safe pick at that particular spot in the draft.

Sullinger also likely can come in and contribute now

re. Sullinger.  Article I just posted in the Sullinger thread, but seems to fit here.  http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/michael_rosenberg/06/27/nba-draft-questions/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_t11_a0

What, no Royce White as available in consideration?  You'd be the only one saying that.

As for the trade idea, that wouldn't be bad if that happened however the players you're pegging for those picks I wouldn't touch.
Melo - has bust written all over him.
Ezeli - Maybe at #34.  Maybe.
O'Quinn & Sacre -- #34 is way to soon to pick them.  Could hold on to #51, as well as the future second rounder, and still get at least one of those 2.

I don't have a problem with sliding back a couple of spots to jump up to #34 in the second round but there's a number of players still available there that would be targetted.

I agree that the picks will be reactionary. I think there will be a lot of movement that will cause guys to slip who we thought wouldn't be available when we pick. My guess as to who those guys could be? T. Jones, PJ3, Lamb, Ross, Zeller.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

My dream is Sullinger + Quincy Miller, or Sullinger + Perry Jones.

Yes, I know there are some question marks with all three players, but the talent is too much to pass up.

All 3 have injury concerns but have top 10 talent when 100%. That's exactly what we need in this stage of our franchise development.

One of the latest tweets from Chad Ford has PJ3 sliding down more due to a meniscus issue. I wouldn't mind still picking him due to the fact that he will probably have limited minutes as a rookie and can get surgery immediately to begin healing.

I personally feel all the Celtics Royce White talk is a smoke screen, and that he will be gone before #21 to a team who trades up for him.

Melo, Ezeli, O'Quinn are all solid picks in the early second.

Sacre maybe a stretch but was my fourth option. With the pick being a non-guaranteed 2nd rounder Sacre is worth the risk. He has the size, mobility, and defensive ability of an NBA big just lacks as a rebounder.

I'm all for trying for a home run with the #21, but I think the team should ideally try for a safer pick at #22. This is why I like Jeff Taylor at #22 ahead of miller.

Sullinger + Taylor + Ezeli would be an amazing draft (all three are physically ready for the NBA right now)
