With draft day around the corner, I was wondering who you think the biggest draft bust the Celtics ever pick. There been plenty!!

Michael Smith of BYU may top my list with Joe Forte right behind him.

And Joe Forte is a good one to remember. Didn't Red think Forte was going to be the next Michael Jackson Jordan:)? Just goes to show that everyone deserves a mulligan now and again.

brown was actually doing really well until he couldn't avoid the injury bug...tons of ankle sprains (a la big al). moisio showed us literally nothing. ditto forte.

I think to be a bust you have to be a fairly high pick and there can't be a lot of good players picked after, who we could have had

therefore as bad as he was, Jerome Moiso isn't as big of a bust as Kederick Brown

Michael Smith is a huge one: Vlade, Radja, Kemp, Barros, Tim Hardaway, Cliff Robinson all behind him..

I'll actually defend Michael Smith...  No, not a great player - not even close.  We could have drafted Tim Hardaway that draft, but hindsight is 20-20 so I've heard said.  He actually had some decent games during a stretch, but was a defensive liability and poor rebounder.  But not the worst pick.

For my money, it was Jerome Moiso.  11th overall pick in the 2000 draft.  Lasted only 5 years in the NBA (only 1 in Boston) and put up PUTRID numbers.  He was a bigger bust than Smith ever was, that much is certain.
