Looks like Michael Beasley can be had for nothing. Minnesota traded for Chase Budinger and they want Williams to be the starting SF. Plus they was shopping him last year. So if the C's cant resign Bass or Green, u think Danny might try to get him?
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

He could and I could get onboard with him as a PF for the C's, but at this point I don't think Beasley is ever going to live up to his talent.

Beasley has shown he's a very bad SF.

He's restricted I think and he's gonna cost a lot to bring here. Extremely talented but where does he fit? I don't even think he comes unless we break the bank.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

Esp. if KG retires, then he may be a good option at PF.

if KG retires, we're screwed and Beasley isn't the answer.

He's intriguing as a backup but not as a starter.

I like Beasley. I think he can be a top ten or top 15 caliber scorer for the next 6-8 years as a starting PF. A top ten/twelve PF level talent. A very good young player.

Needs to find a good home. Needs a coach who is a teacher to help him. Teammates who will support him. A good home is more important than the biggest paycheck for Beasley at this juncture in his career. I hope he picks somewhere positive for him to further his career.

Beasley is 23 years old with career averages of 15.1 pts and 5.6 rebs.  If he can be gotten for a reasonable price, you absolutely take a chance on this kid.

I've liked Beasley, and would happily welcome him in Boston - esp at the PF spot. He's had his issues in the past but he's still got a tremendous amount of talent and is only 23 yrs old. I think in the right environment, he could flourish.

With that said, it may be hard to get him. Supposedly, the Lakers still want him and Minnesota is interested in a sign and trade involving Jordan Hill.

His QO is over 8 MM I don't see the T-Wolves picking it up for fear that they might actually have to pay him that much.

Yeah Im gonna have to agree with this one. I think we get out bid by another team however. It unfortunate because Boston would probably help him straighten out a lot but he'll sign a bigger contract with a mess like Detroit or Sactown or something.

would do a S&T with JG or Bass for him for sure.

Or bring him in outright at the right price point.

I like Beasley.

He's a risky one, but the talent is there. All star talent? Not really but a solid starter.

Detroit is not a mess.  They're a pretty good team and they're heading in the right direction.  Knight, Stuckey, Monroe and 9th pick are great pieces to build around.

I agree with this. Beasley needs the right organization to help him realize his potential.

I daresay that the Celtics could be such an organization, especially if Kevin Garnett is still around.
