not for too much money IMO he was always streaky but he was wildly inconsistent last year for da knicks he cost himself some money plus his ball handling is garbage I'd rather have Crawford

No, the dude is crazy. His brother played for Louisville this year and he came into town to watch him. JR and his crew rented a party bus from my ex's fathers company. JR got pi*sed at some dude, provoked a fight and acted like a fool and all h*ll broke loose between his crew and people outside the bus. JR tried to fight a few guys but got put back on the bus. Then bottles started flying at the bus windows and it was a crazy scene for a min with a few guys trying to get in. They ended up busting out a (very expensive) window. JR refused to pay for the damage until the company threatned to tell news outlets. Then his management called and made everything hush hush.

My exs dad and the driver of the bus told the story much better, mainly because Neil (the driver) was scared to death. I kinda forgot about it until now, should have been a story told on here at the begining of the year.

Still, dude is a head case and not what this team needed

Wow I hate some people. Such nonsense . Didn't his sister and wife get thrown out of a china game this year? Trouble follows him wherever he goes, which I guess shouldn't be a surprise since the dude is moronic .

Ricky Davis 2.0.

Great combination of skills and athleticism + (deservedly) horrible reputation = tantalizing 6th man for the right price.

A better player than Crawford at this point in time.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Skilled player who is a bad fit for the Celtics culture. I think this past season showed how much chemistry matters.

I just don't want any scoring wing who can be described as a selfish, me-first chucker who tends to not care about defense because he is more concerned with getting his points.  I would absolutely prefer a Michael Pietrus type player over someone like Smith, even if it hurts the offense.

No thanks...hes a headcase, he ended up being kicked out of the rotation in Denver and they never missed him.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I was a really big fan when he was with Denver, probably because I only saw his highlights when he was on fire. After watching him much more closely with the Knicks his shot selection would lead to me breaking my tv.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The debate seems to be between Smith and Crawford, but there are a few other decent options for wing scorers in free agency. I'm thinking Marco Belinelli and Leandro Barbosa as two possible options. Barbosa brings a lot of athleticism and defense. I always saw him as a good fit for the C's.

Neither Smith nor Crawford were astounding last year. Both were wildly inconsistent. I think I would take Crawford though, if I had to pick between the two. Not as explosive as Smith, but a willing passer and a solid scorer for the C's second unit(Not that we know who the rest of the unit will be right now). Smith's on and off court issues tend to outweigh any good he brings, in my opinion.
