I'd be happy to get Dwight out of the east. If he gets moved I wouldn't be shocked in Deron Williams goes to the Mavs. Two very good players leaving the East for the West isn't the worst thing.

Lowry, three firsts and Scola for Dwight?
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah they're clearly putting together a package to go after an elite player again.

It'll be interesting to see if they can finally pull it off.

I guess the more i think about this the more i'm liking it for Minny.

I had forgotten about Pekovic.  He can definitely start in this league, Minney doesn't really have a pressing need for a C.  Budinger is a proven commodity who shot better than 40% from 3 last year and has a team option for under $1 million.

Initially i was thiking 'why not give up a little more and get Kevin Martin' but his pricetag at $13 million is a bit much to stomach.

Fair trade in my opinion.
Adelman loved Budinger in Houston so I am not surprised.

My worst nightmare is that Houston gets all these picks, fails to get Howard then desperately turns to LA and unloads all those picks for Gasol.

It's looking more and more likely. I wonder if the Nets blew it by moving that lottery pick for Wallace (well they did but they don't seem to agree). That's really going to haunt them I think.

Might actually be our best chance to get a piece of Dwight. Let him go to Houston, whilst the Nets lose Williams and crumble. Dwight gets p---ed that they didn't handle it properly and goes rogue.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Im wondering if its Kevin Martin instead of Scola.  Salaries still work.

Scola and Dwight would be fun to watch together
