I Met and Talked to KG Tonight!!

Greetings fellow Celtic fans!!

I don't know if I've ever posted here but I frequent CB throughout the day.

Anyway on to my spill. I was hanging out tonight at a lounge in Houston, TX, when I noticed KG standing behind me. Shocked before my eyes I yelled, KG!!! Go Celtics!! He nodded his head and shook my hand. Sam Cassell was standing next to me. I shook Sam's hand and told him that I am a Celtic fan and to "please get KG to come back"! He laughed!

Later as I was leaving, I went up to KG outside,as a few others went over to shake his hand. I told him that I was a HUGE Celtic fan and that he was my favorite player. He smiled, as he said "that's whats up".He asked me what my name was. I told him my name and he shook my hand again and he said it was nice meeting me. I then spoke for all Celtic fans and told him that we NEED him back and that it is all about Banner 18, as I said to him, "You know what's up"!

 He laughed and said "in a minute, in a minute", as he smiled!

So there it is folks!! He's coming back!!!!!
 
No but if that was a hint from him and he does decide to come back for the C's, remember that you heard it here first!! From Kris, a Celtic fan living in Houston!! Not ESPN!! Or some insider! HA!!

Anyway I thought I would share this experience with Celtic Nation, as we all wait on his decision. Hope KG comes back!! But I will never forget this night!


Meeting KG was the highlight of my evening!

lol! that is an awesome experience. i ran onto half the dream team 2 years ago walking down the street in madrid and yelled out "rondo!!!" as i accidentally bumped into him, then i deliberately pushed him playfully (but in retrospect pretty hard) on the shoulder (coz i was so excited to see him) like he was my homeboy (totally ignoring the other guys) - freaked him out though i think. your interaction went much smoother. KG's the man.

Good to hear he's out enjoying himself with pals rather than locked away at home, brooding about 'The Decision'.

(Especially since Sam's team has already loaded up on big men and contracts...)

highlight of the evening? That would be a highlight in my life!

Kevin Garnett has inspired me with a lot of things in my life. Next to that he is obv my favourite player and he plays for the team I will love forever. The heart and sould of the best organization in the world.

Man, what a story. Really hope he is coming back :)

That's awesome, really $(#%&*! awesome and I'm glad you showed him the love.
I said hi to Jeff Green when I was in Las Vegas staying at the Wynn- well I kind of sputtered something like hi because I was star struck haha. He was busy checking out my girlfriend. One of the best days of my life to have a real life Celtic check out my girlfriend.
That's when you know you're a true fan.

wasn't there an article saying KG is coming back according to Sam Cassell a few weeks ago? I have to believe Sam knows what he is talking about as he is very good friends with KG

Now we just need to sign Green and another legit big man. I let Ray walk if it means we could sign a Humpheries,Illyasova or kaman for a few years, but will gladly take ray back if he doesn't mind playing for vet min .

What a good story.  Since you now have an "in", what to you say about finding out about Ray too??????  HA HA

It is always good to hear that players are pleased to meet fans, we hear so many stories about guys being jerks.
