wat da hell? why White nd Nicholson? lol they both power forwards tho if we do draft both of them IMO one of em gettin traded

I think that the philosophy here is you hope one of them develops into a good NBA player, so the redundancy isn't as big a deal. Chances are that neither one plays much next year- the chances that they want to play both are pretty low indeed.

However, the problem is that you already have JaJuan Johnson and KG, who wants to go back to PF. If the draft goes according to Ford, I'd rather take Harkess or Wroten, instead of Nicholson, and hope for the upside at 2 spots.

I think we can draft 2 PFs and have it fit just fine.  There is no guarantee that Bass will be back.  Jeff Green is our SF of the future if we sign him long term.

If we pick up a C to move KG back to PF that only means that JJJ will have to battle the 2 rookies for backup playing time.  But even then, I expect KG's minutes to be really low next year so there could be ample time for 2 backups at the PF.

The goal is trying to win a title next year. You don't hand major back up minutes to an inexperienced rookine or Johnson if you believe you can win. The C's definitely need a veteran PF added to this team to help KG. I expect Delusional to try and add two veteran big men just like last season. Johnson and a rookie PF will be battling for 10 minutes per game tops...at least I hope so.

Using both picks on PFs after taking JJJ last year? Yuck.

LOVE the Nicholson pick!

And while I really think White will be a solid NBA rotation player, and will be able to play SF depite people thinking he won't, I'm not sold on him being a good "fit" for the C's based on his ball-dominant style of play.  Definitely rather have Harkless.

I will not be happy if we have the opportunity to pick Harkless and don't do it.

Yes sir!  I am with you on this.  Moe is gonna be marvelous!

If we walk away with Sullinger and Royce White from this draft I think most of us will do a happy dance.

I'd be ok with White.

I'm praying someone ahead of us picks Sullinger though.  Nicholson will be better, I'd put money on it.

rather have harkness and nicolson....that gives the celtics a LEGIT SF and a nice PF with outside game

This makes sense and me.  Harkless has some major athleticism and a crazy motor.  Nicholson can shoot, post, and rebound.

I like this plan.

Gotta say I'm a little confused by the Sullinger to Denver pick.  Why would Denver pick Sullinger with Faried already there?  Seems a little redundant to me.

This is the mock draft post Hornets Wizards trade. Also some "guarantees" have changed the order.

14) Houston - Tyler Zeller
15) Philly - Terrence Jones
16) Houston - Arnett Moultrie
17) Dallas - Kendall Marshall
18) Minny - Fab Melo
19) Orlando - Perry Jones III
20) Denver - Jared Sullinger
21) Boston - Royce White
22) Boston - Andrew Nicholson
23) Atlanta - Moe Harkless

Every one of those players (14-23) except Marshall are frontline players.  I would be sick if Sullinger and Jones fell that far, but were picked just before Boston. Zeller or Moultire would be awesome too.  I wish there was a way to swap picks with Houston.

Orlando just hired a new GM, how could he know they'd want PJ3 ? Maybe cause he's the BPA ?

IMO they need a PG badly on that team, Nelson is opting out which is good for Orlando. Maybe they should pick Wroten or Teague, the first is better though.

If we got Wroten I wouldn't be sad though but I want 2 out of those 3 players above at 21 and 22.

KG plays Center, resign Krstic and/or Wilcox using their bird rights for one year.

Sullinger/PJ3 and White at PF

JJJ traded up to the Magic and our 22 is a possibility to get either Sullinger or PJ3 since he wouldn't get PT on this team.

I dont mind giving Green 3 year deal with the last year being a player option, he expires with Rondo.

Bass sign and traded or given a short deal.

I think however Wroten will be a really good player for us if we picked him.

I think it would fit their philosophy quite nicely, actually - they like to stack two or three deep at every position.  Lawson/Miller, Aflalo/Brewer, Gallo/Chandler, Faried/Harrington, Mozgov/McGee/Koufos.

With Harrington a potential waivee/amnestee in the near future, Faried/Sullinger makes an interesting tag team.  Speed/transition offense/energy contrasting with bulk/skill/post scoring.
