I'd welcome him for the vet minimum, won't be a locker room disturbance or chemistry killer.

Despite what has been said about him and all the mockery he's a good player and will be a good addition to our team.

I questioned his mental toughness ever since that night in the green room when he was drafted.   Granted I felt bad for him though in a way, but I would not want him on the C's ever.

Was that the last time Lewis was in uniform? When he was still playing for the Sonics?

Seems like a lifetime ago that he was a player of any relevance.

2009-2010 wasn't that long ago.

If he is a free agent and will sign for the vet min, I think he is worth the invite to camp.

replace a SG that still has some skills with a SF that's a couple of years removed from being a rotation-worthy player?

Ray Allen's short term replacement is probably already on the roster.  Avery Bradley.  He will have to prove he can be the long term solution though and that will require him proving he isn't two small to play the 2 full-time.  I think Bradley is best suited to being the 3rd guard but I don't see a rookie or anyone we can attain via free agency this off season beating him out due to his speed and tenacity on defense.

Wow you are underselling what a healthy ray allen can give us with that photo!

as posted Bradley already looks to be rays' replacement, fingers crossed hoping ray wants to sign for 2 years affordably to come off bench for us

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Good bench role player- can play defense on 2,3,4 and 5 spot. Would be helpful in the small ball line up because he's deceptively quick but 6 feet 10. Can also stretch floor with 3 point shooting.

I say yes for one of our 2.5 million tickets.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
