Still can't get over it.

What a stiff. Melo sucks.

With Sulinger and Melo we just got less athletic and more injury prone. Sulinger plays like an old man.

nor IQ either....which is one reason why melo is going to have trouble getting any playing time with doc's defensive schemes. melo is not a particularly bright human being it seems. doc's rotations are pretty sophisticated and take some time to learn.

that is not a good combo. melo played only zone at SU. let's see whether or not he has the brains to do more than be tall. i dont recall him playing against pick and rolls in college. he will have to in the nba.
At 22 you're not getting a franchise center.  Any big you grab that low is going to have issues.  The one thing that does scare me is the fact that this guy was academically ineligible at Syracuse.  That takes some doing.
I doubt doc gives math tests at practice.

maybe language issue were the problem, imagine studying at the university of san paulo or paris or milan and you had poor command of the local language

That's what Melo claims, but who knows.  He's definitely not great with English yet though.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

LOL... Wasn't Kevin Garentt academically ineligible to even ATTEND College?  That's why he went straight to the pros.  Who cares if the guy isn't book smart... has nothing to do with a player's ability to pick up rotations.

[dang]it, Charlotte. They already have MKG and Henderson. Taylor is going to waste away on the bench.

One thing I like about Sullinger is he's an inside scorer.  We haven't had one of those in a long time....

I don't understand how anyone can be mad about Sullinger at 21...who was everyone expecting?
