Honestly saw this coming before the draft. Had a feeling both Sullinger and Melo would both fall to the C's. Melo isn't a good offensive player at all, but a great post defender. Not a smart player, but worth the project pick.

Well, I'm happy with the picks.

We got our shot blocker/rebounder in Melo, and we got Jared.

Good Job, Danny!

Just watch - these guys will pan out!

Like the Sullinger pick a lot. He'll help us.

Absolutely hate the Fab Melo pick. Danny just drafted another O'Bryant clone.

Passing on Perry Jones for Melo? Unless Jones is about to have a leg amputation, you're going to have a difficult time justifying that.

B grade.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Sullinger.

I like the talent don't get me wrong. But the back issues.

I'm back to the Avery Bradley scenario again, prove me wrong Jared.

And Fab Melo. I like it...

It makes sense now, they kind of compliment each other. Jared takes care of scoring and rebounding, while Melo does the defending.

Mixed feelings about the Melo pick.  PJ3 is awfully tempting at 22, but he'd be at least our 3rd young 4, 4th if we keep Bass.

I watched Melo a lot at Syracuse, and if he keeps improving like he did last year, he could be a defensive beast, and passable on O, in a couple of years.  Guy's still pretty new to the game and you can't coach that kind of size.  But he could be a bust as well.

All things considered, a nice haul in a very deep draft.
