Anyone really think paying 50 mil to Luis Scola, Kevin Martin and Lamar odom (all over 30) would be better than a core of Anthony Davis, Austin Rivers and Eric Gordon?  Lol

You guys are funny.  What if Rivers turns into a superstar and our 21st and 22nd pick amounts to nothing more than... late-1st round scrubs.  Adorable silliness.

What if by playing here his development was stunted because he played for his dad. Your speculation is just as silly as our speculation.

Gotta feel good for the Rivers family tonight.
Doc looks very proud.
Good for him, good for Austin.
(but he's got to shave that thing off)
Celtics fan for life.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
YAY! Should this mean Royce White turns to Royce Green if we trade up?
I like Marcus Smart

agreed you cant make any predictions at this stage... but father/son coaching relationships can backfire bad

Rivers has potential.  Top 10 talent, obviously.  ;) ... I just think it's adorable that some Celtic fans are relieved that we didn't trade a couple late 1st round scrubs for a top 10 talent.

In retrospect anything is possible... but right now... Austin Rivers value is unquestionably higher than the value of our late 1st rounders.

"Thank god Detroit took Andre Drummond at 9th!... phew!" sounds just as silly to me.

What if one of the C's picks becomes a contributor and Rivers becomes a bust? The NBA draft is all speculation for the most part.

I would have rather the Raptors select Royce White so this silly dream can end
