There was some symbiosis, but it was mostly Shaq.

If it were all Rondo, then every center we have should produce the same results.

That said, other center that Rondo has played with has come close to touching Shaq's .66 fg% that year.

On the other hand, Shaq's fg% was also higher than it ever had been. Part of this was because he took fewer difficult shots and mainly just dunked, but credit Rondo for getting the ball to him in those spots.

So yeah, it was both, but mostly Shaq.

Shaq had the highest fg% of his career playing with Rondo. So did Krstic, so did Green, so did Wilcox. Rondo has a lot to do with it.

Nope... I wasn't going to comment because I am biased but...

Shaq pretty much scored the same amount the seasons before in Cleveland and Phoenix. Rondo helped get him easier shots sure... but it was mainly Shaq because he was scoring the same with or without RR.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Shaq , was a huge target, with years of experience and moves .

I also suspect Shaq made Rondo feel very comfortable , becasue HE WANTED the ball inside , and SHAQ has GREAT HANDS , and could handle the ROndo trick passes.

If Shaq could have stayed healthy or been with Rondo earlier, they would have been more rings for Shaq.  Rondo was MADE for feeding someone like Shaq or DAvid Robinson .

Oh...to dream what could have been... :'(

I doubt we'll find another Shag, but we do have Kevin Garnett (hopefully) to run the pick and roll with Rondo.   I'm thinking KG has one more year left in those legs.
