OK, I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong.  Jam Master Jay was not in fact a rapper (despite reports of a performance at a Boca Raton restaurant).  I'll have to file this under "learned something new today".  I was never a big rap fan, but loved Run DMC back in the day.  Grand Master Flash, Whodini, Beasties, Cypress Hill and a Tribe Called Quest all made it onto my playlist in my life at some point too.  I wanted a Run DMC guy.  And while I don't see why the distinction was necessarily worthy of note, I do now admit that a DJ in a rap group is not by association a rapper.  My bad.

That said, I'm going to change my pick to Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest.  Lord have mercy, I have seen the light.

Since I've been hearing so much about "fit" in this draft, every time I thought about my mascot pick, this guy would be the first thing to jump into my head, (and he is a pretty good jumper, for a white guy with a tramp, that is). And for that reason, while this is certainly not the most of involved picks for me, it makes the most sense, and is by far the best fit. So, (and while this is clearly not a duplicate pick in my mind, I can certainly clarify that for anyone else who thinks the opposite), for it's seventh pick in the 2012 CB Ultimate Draft, the newly-named Portland Paradigm, (Team Bahku), selects the perfect pick for our group of over-achievers in the Mascot category ...

i tried my best to make a post this afternoon about picks.  its best if a mod does it and modifies the title name.  i realize that a mod might not be able to do that, which is why i tried to make posts about picks and who was up.
