  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Exactly, I took it as, he gets paid to wrestle, so he is a pro wrestler.  If you look towards the end of the video you can see a lot of his wrestling holds including him putting somebody to sleep in a title defense

Yeha, but you picked an actual real wrestler. We all picked fake wrestlers with mythical personas and we're pretending they're actually as tough as they act.

John Bones Jones vrs Steve Austin? I don't know bro. Steve Austin, six-time champion, utterly dominant, and, as we all know from his performance as Hugo Panzer, a talented actor to boot, is no chopped liver.

It would be an interesting matchup, honestly its going to take somebody with length to take down jones, austin doesn't have the reach to take him down.

And Jon jones also has a persona, he has tried to be a goody too shoes, though his recent DUI, has brought that down a notch.  He is a classic heel.

Know what else is a classic heel?

The one Stone Cold is going use on Jon Jones to dispose of his newly opened can of whoop-ass.

You guys, I really hate Lebron.

My girlfriend keeps talking about Tanya Harding'ing Lebron.  I have never been so proud

I went on twitter for a second. That was a real blunder.

The guy can win a championship and still be a jerk.

jon jones should not be allowed.  he is a mixed martial artist.  not a professional wrestler.  he has an amateur background in wrestling, but he is a MMA fighter now, with a background in wrestling....and ju jitsu, and boxing, and muay thai, etc.

two other picks that stick out as not fitting their respective category:

George W. Bush as a losing presidential candidate (he won)
&
Jam Master Jay (he was a DJ, not a rapper)

maybe im being anal, but the jon jones pick is now the third selection not fitting their respective category.  i also dont see the difference between a duo and team (dream team and celts werent allowed). i know this is fun, but i think its important to stick to the category.  it is ok to think outside the box, as long as it fits the category legitimately

just my 2 cents

whatever is decided, i will respect, but i thought i would share my opinion

ufc/mma is not wrestling.  it is mixed martial arts.  wrestling is just one component.  ur essentially stating all mixed martial artists fit the category.  the most common blue print for mma is a combination (thus the term, "mixed") of boxing, muay thai, wrestling, ju jitsu, and sometimes a traditional martial art such as taekwondo or karate.

ask dana white if he is paying jones as a professional wrestler and he will say no, its MMA and jones is a mixed martial artist.

Disagree, all it says is, "professional wrestler," never says it has to be wcw, WWE, or NWO.  Dude wrestles and gets paid for it it's a perfectly legit pick

he doesnt get paid to wrestle.  thats the thing.

thats like buying a car and instead of calling it a car, saying you bought  a fan belt.

wrestling is a component, he doesnt wrestle, he does mixed martial arts

It's been awhile and nothing is moving, so I'm going to skip redz and wdleehi.

I pick Walter Payton as my rapper.

(I can't post video links from my phone, but cue up the Super Bowl Shuffle).
