As far as teams re: individuals re: cars and songs, here is my own twisted little interpretation.
The Ultimate Draft was originally invented as a valve release, and at its heart, it's satire and parody, playfully mocking the competitive and ruthless CB Draft. A place where you can argue whether Abraham Lincoln or Hemingway is tougher. A place where you could argue that BA was funnier than Martin Riggs.
If you step outside the box lines of selecting individuals, it should be in that spirit. For instance, wdleehi selected the fictional pair of hilarious male figure skaters from Blades Of Glory (which is of course KCattheStripe's favorite movie), because nobody takes that seriously.
But selecting the Dream Team or the miracle on ice kind of steps over the line, if slightly. It's a razors edge to have a draft on celticsblog that is centered around taking itself not too seriously. It's a kind of magic trick, one that if you endorse it too strongly or enforce it too openly violates the spirit of the thing by definition. Theoretically the Ultimate Draft should have the spirit of a drunken conversation among friends at a BBQ. You shouldn't need that to be moderated or policed.
