Here's a nice story about Moore with a great quote from The Captain:

"He's one of the best shooters on the team. He's going to be a really solid player in this league, in time."

He had some really good moments last year.  And not really any bad ones, not like what Bradley was having in the beginning of the season.

Thats why I think this guy will be fine with a good summer and camp.

This is good to hear.  I don't think he has huge upside and is going to light the world on fire; however, I think he could be a nice shooter off the bench in the mold of Eddie House or Tony Delk or some other undersized jump shooter.  And he's obviously at a very affordable price.  And that's not anything to scoff at for a second round pick.

agreed with this, definitely wouldn't be a bad piece to have for next season

every rookie should hope to play a bigger role on their team next year.

I think he can develop into a solid role player -- certainly to the level that we had hoped Dooling would play at for us this year.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He could make a great backup combo guard for us this year. I hope Doc plays him, which I think he will particularly if we don't retain Ray.

Only thing that worries me about Etwaun is his foot speed on defense and keeping up with faster guards.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I think E'twaun is a no-brainer re-sign.  He certainly showed me enough in limited minutes this past year to warrant being Rondo's backup next season.  He should get all the minutes.

Our second unit will play a little differently with him on the floor, because you have to respect his 3-pt shot.
