You've got a growing conflict within your statement: they've been doomed when they've got somewhere in two of the last three years because they're too old, but you want the same guys back next year when they're even older still?
I never said they were doomed because they were too old; that was your inference. They were doomed because they were asked to do something their age prevented them from doing, namely, matching the stamina of players in their prime.
