Whoops I just posted this too so I'll go delete it haha. I love Jackie, she has such great insight. After reading this I feel pretty certain Ray Ray won't be back

While it is tough to stomach the idea of Ray Allen leaving, the C's should be fine without him. Dooling and Pietrus might come back for short money, and a Rondo, Bradley, Dooling, Pietrus guard rotation is pretty solid.

The C's need more speed, and Ray was the first of the big three to get out played by his backup (even if just for half a season). Jackie really made it clear that Allen is ready to move on.

The trick is that I doubt any contender out there can offer more money and playing time to him. So who knows.
You must have forgot Ray was the best Celtic for the better first part of the season when he was healthy

Sorry, but I never liked Jackie and will believe Ray is gone when he is gone.  I think the only reason Ray won't be back is if Danny doesn't want him back.  He won't be starting for another contender anyway, I don't believe, so he may as well come off the bench for us.

I heard Jackie on the radio a little while ago talking about some of the stuff in that article.  The impression I got from her regarding the Rondo/Ray rift was that there really isn't anything specific to it other than her personal opinion that Ray no longer works for this team.  She's really high on the Rondo/Bradley combination, and I think that she thinks Allen will just get in the way of that developing.

There was nothing concrete, but I do think that what she says makes some sense.  I guess we'll see if Ray comes back or not, but, personally, I'm not counting on it.
