An emerging player on the Celtics’ radar could be San Antonio restricted free agent Danny Green, who had a solid playoff stretch with the Spurs and is one of the league’s most improved players. Green started most of the postseason games for San Antonio, and because he is a second-round pick under the Arenas rule, the Spurs can match any offer to him. The Celtics will be seeking an athletic swingman who can play defense and has long-range shooting skills.

I have no problem with this as long as it's not more than 4-5 mil range .

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
No problem with it as well. Looks like he has the tools to play good defense. Good shooter, although he struggled mightily in the playoffs. But I would like that pickup.

Him or Brandon Rush really. But this should only happen if Ray walks. If Ray stays, i don't see why we need to spend 3-4 mil on those guys.

No -- Bradley should be looked at as the long term starting two until proven otherwise and $3-5 million per annum on a multi-year contract is too much to pay a bench player like Danny Green when you are still trying to maintain your cap flexibility going forward.

One year contract, I would be happy to have him but he'll most certainly get a better offer elsewhere. Not a real option in my eyes (at least not a good option).

Young, cheap guys with potential are exactly the type of players that I'm hoping Ainge is scouring the league for this off-season.

Meanwhile "Spurs May Target Kevin Garnett."

Quote from: Buck Harvey
One option tossed out this weekend by one in the Spurs organization is not just another name - Kevin Garnett.
