I just wanted to share a number that I'm very proud of as a Celtics fan.  Since this team was put together prior to the 2008 season, they have lost a total of four playoff series.  All but one of those playoff series losses was in seven games.

I don't know if this matters to anyone else, but it's something that I'm very proud of with this group.  To me, it's an indication of what this team is all about.  The '09 Magic, the '10 Lakers, and the '12 Heat were in the end all better teams than the Celtics.  I just love that they never, ever threw in the towel on a series, whether they were overmatched or not.

Even against last year's Heat which only went 5, the team fought through, and it took reducing our superstar point guard to playing with one arm to finish us off early for the Heat.

Compare the way some of the other top teams like the Lakers, the Spus, the Mavericks, and the Heat have bowed out of some of their playoff series, and I think it's fair to say that the mental toughness and the willingness to keep fighting despite the odds by this group is unmatched.

Proud to be be a Celtics fan!

Agreed no matter what happened yesterday I was proud of our team. We had injuries, no body expected us to win and we still prevailed. Proud to be a Celtics fan.
