I'm going to get destroyed for posting this but its Pierce who played the poorest. Rays defense was fine throughout the playoffs, he helped space the floor at times and he rebounded well. He fought through the injury. I think it would be fine if he came back next year, if we can get a big discount. A healthy Ray, Rajon, Bradley, and Moore is a great group that gives you lots of different options.
PP was dominated by Lebron, even more than usual. Lets face it its Mia thats in the way, besides us being in our own way. That match up isn't going to do anything but get worse for us.
I didn't like Paul's defense but Ray didn't play that great either. Neither were healthy though, so it's not a huge surprise.
i dont think you should get destroyed for saying that. He didnt play great ball. He wasnt god awful, he just wasnt consistent. His rotations on defense seemed to be poor, and on offense he was often seemingly a step behind. However, I definitely wouldnt say it was his fault we lost because as a team we could have played much better.
As far as Bass goes. If he exercises his option i would gladly gladly gladly take him back. Whether he starts for us at power forward or comes off the bench in a 6th man role he is effective with his minutes on the floor. If we loose Ray and KG however, he isnt going to get as many open looks with the jumper cause the spacing will be gone.... As a fifth option in the starting lineup, he is pretty killer, especially for 4 mil a year.
