Yeah Crawford doesn't get swayed by home fans, and sometimes seems to react in the opposite direction.  And remember he's the guy who called the 6th foul on LeBron in Game 4.  Not afraid to make a tough call.

In terms of pure vision and calling the game, Crawford's one of the best.  His problem is taking things personally and turning the game into a power struggle.  But the Heat complain a lot more than we do too.

I agree but he is also capable of changing what he thinks a  foul is midstream and calling every foul on us in the 4th ala the 7th game against LA in 2010

How about Callahan and Foster? How are they?

I don't know much about Callahan but Foster isn't a great ref. For reasons that a poster mentioned...I do not want Joey Crawford refereeing a deciding game 7...

I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy but my memory tells me that Joey Crawford was the one name I didn't want to see here.

Can't we just bring Gerald Green back?

We have to make sure Joey and Co. won't have an impact. In short, we have to play our best game of the year. I think we will. Go C's!

Yeah I'm pretty surprised at all the positive remarks on Crawford so far...

The Celtics win A LOT of games that Foster officiates.

Yeah. I can only think of two instances where he didn't screw us. He is not who I wanted reffing this game.  It will be a parade to the line for Miami tonight.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Joey Crawford... long time no see! ;)

Last time he reffed, we won. Game 7 worries me, but he calls it fairly (as long as no orders are given). The game where LeBron fouled out was called as fairly as it could have been on the Heat. I hope they're consistent tonight. It's all I ask, I want the players to decide the game, not the officials.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

This. Joey Crawford thinks he is the show, but he normally gives the visitors a fighting chance. And, Tommy Heinsohn likes him so he can't be bad, right?

Its funny how Crawford is the one out of that list I like the most. Foster Ive never been a huge fan of and callahan i dont know much about. i dont really have big beef with either of them though, could have been a lot worse.

Scott Foster:

Mike Callahan
