chips are again down, just can't compete with these young bucks.  the senior citizen Celts might as well stay in Florida & call it a career...

except, it's these types of games where our guys play their best.

I've been wanting a chance to take out Miami in a ECF South Beach game 7 all season, can't wait for Sat night!!

I would've wanted the Cs to win at home and have roughly the same amount of rest as the thunder.

For this Celtic team, game 7 does just feel right. Its going to be epic.

If the Heat are to take the mantle from the Celtics it should go down to game 7, and Lebron will have to play like a legend again.

Lets Go Celtics!

i have no issues letting lebrick do what he did last night. but boston didn't play well on offense. ball stuck and they settled for long jumpers that didn't fall

they MUST provide more resistance tomorrow

which makes it almost impossible to get rebounds if you miss. I just do not understand why we do not force it more in the paint. Sure, try some jumpers but if you are not hitting go inside and attack the rack. it really is mind boggling what doc rivers let's them do at times. we desperately need a dennis rodman or charles barkley type rebounder next year.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Honestly, I would have preferred the Celtics win last night.

I'd rather win it 4-0 with game 4 a win due to Miami forfeit to avoid further humiliation.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

I would have preferred 4-0, 4-1, or 4-2, to be honest.

ill answer it like this... if we win game 7, then I wouldn't want it any other way... cause that breaks the hearts of the heat fans.

If we lose... well I would have preferred many other options including a victory last night

Yes, I'd definitely want it another way.

For example, we absolutely pound the crap out of them at home, last night, in game six. Celebrate at home, after beating them by about 25 and be able to watch James and Wade walk off in defeat - payback for last year.

I would have "greatly" preferred that to a game seven in Miami. Even if we beat them, which, as much of an optimist as I am, I really doubt is going to happen, we will once again have less rest than our opponent in the next round.

I would have to agree that it would be fitting for this team - but it's hard to describe my deep contempt for it.

It is what it is...and I do appreciate the OP's enthusiasm and spirit nonetheless.

  • You say when......
Who needs all this "drag it out" junk....beat them in 6, and wait for the next opponent....or 4 would be better...this isn't a movie..where the good guys always win in the end..you gotta take it and end it when you can...The Celtics have pulled this "we'll get 'em later" stuff before.....So NO, this isn't any good for us..but we can win it....but you gotta want it more than anything...in you heart, you feet, your hands and your mind....!!!

"a game 7 in miami, would we want it any other way?"

of course we would want it another way... we would want it to be over after game 6 playing at home.

I would have preferred winning in 4, next 5, then 6, but I'll take seven.
