I really hate this drink-tossing fan. What a sore loser! Now fans of other teams are making a big fuss about "how classless the Celtics fans are". This just made the loss even worse.

Yeah, that sucks.  It was an all-time great playoff performance from Lebron.  We showed our pride by chanting our team out of the building, don't spoil it by doing something classless like that.

I don't even want to watch that. That's just awful.

That's actually infuriating, and insulting to real fans. I'd almost guarantee that, whoever he is, he probably only started caring about the Celtics after they won in 2008.

/and if somehow you end up reading this, I have only this to say : you're a disgrace.

Whatever.  It's one guy.  The Boston fans showed all their sides in that building last night from being the classiest and most loyal in sports with that chant to the drunken loutishness of pouring a beer on Lebron James as he walked down the concourse.  It was all "old school."  The good and the bad.

There's no way to diminish my Celtic Pride today.

You know, I can't really see when it happened.  I see he turned to his side once in the tunnel but it doesn't seem like he could have been hit there?

Looking at the angle and the trajectory of the pour, I think there must have been a second drink tosser.

Arrest the jerk and make sure he never enters the arena again.

Problem is when management doesn't request that jerks stop chanting BS after a bad call they're essentially sanctioning behavior like this.  People take their families to games.

I'm no fan of the messiah...But he showed that he's the most gifted player in sports history last night...Without the official's help....(Although the officials were obscessed with trying to get wade going)

Nobody deserves that.

And the sad thing is even after the chants the fans gave the Celtics, there are people who want to focus more on this fan who poored beer on LeBron. I already saw on different sites where they focused more on this fan instead of the he loyal fans who cheered this team on even while being blown out.

What he did was wrong no matter how people feel about LeBron.

When I first read that, I thought it said Artest the jerk.  Wow, not what I was expecting from a poster here advocating LeBron to do to one of our fans.

But then I re-read it and realized my mistake.  Although I do think Artesting would be way more effective than Arresting.  ;)

Ha! Is this a JFK reference? Is there a grassy knoll inside the Garden?  ;D

I wonder if one of the mods or regular contributors might publicly repudiate this cowardly, classless act on the home page.

We all know that's not how true Celtics fans act, but I think it would be good to voice that opinion to the rest of NBA fandom.
