I now have the unfortunate luck to live down in Miami right now (Okay so the women are smoking hot but other than that...) and these talking heads on the radio who didn't say boo after Game 5 now can't do anything but talk about how this is "LeBron's team" and they're winning the title...meanwhile they can't name the starting lineup to their own title team from only a few years ago. Anyone who has written this team off...don't post until the game is over. This team has been written off through the media, by fans and on this board. I don't want to hear talk about the draft...I don't want to hear talk about if KG is retiring...just tomorrow just the here and now. Win this thing they've done it before and they'll do it again. This is the team that ran LeBron out of Cleveland with his tail between his legs when he gave the C's a similar beating on their home floor in 2010. The C's came back and beat him. They'll do it again! get jacked up guys...the let's go Celtics chant got any true C's fan jacked up last night!

Anyone down in Miami or the S. Florida area...INVADE THE BARS...show your support...let's go Celtics!!!

EDIT: Maybe I'm just jacked up because the Pats resigned Gronk...but I feel good about tomorrow

In my eyes most fan's still believe.

The problem today is we are disappointed and upset that yet again (in the Celtics new big 3 era) they let a golden opportunity slip through their fingers.  When the stage was set to go the easy way the spotlight came on and they didn't show.

They still have one more performance to redeem themselves.

I am much more confident in a great performance by the team we love going in to game 7 than game 6.

It is no way close to being over.  Lets go Celtics!

As Doc said its a miss-make league. If the Celtics and Heat get the same shots they took in game 6, I like Boston's chances.

Lebron had one of those rare super nova games from the outside/midrange. The Celtics shot 1-14 from 3, and many of those were wide open.

Lets Go Celtics!!

well said. I am not giving up either and stated that last night. some just prefer to not drink the kool-aid and to put down the green and white glasses when making observations. makes one no less a fan. I was very positive yesterday and look how that turned out! lol.

last night was an embarrassment any way you want to slice it and dice it. It does not mean we do not love this team. It does not mean we stop pulling for them. It does not mean these guys have not overcome so much adversity this year.  I was wrong. i thought pierce would not have two terrible games in a row. plenty never thought we would make it this far by getting past atlanta and the sixers. NOBODY thought we would push the Miami Cheat to 7 games...except celtics fans. I predicted the celtics in 7 from the get go. hopefully I am not wrong again. GO CELTICS! If we go down we go down swinging.

I absolutely REFUSE to subscribe to the loser mentality that, well it is best we lose anyway because OKC would run us out the building, blah, blah, blah. Keep winning and anything is possible in the playoffs. It is a new season. I'd much rather be eastern conference champs and go down swinging against the thunder than make excuses to lose to the heat. and who knows? we just might beat the thunder. anything is possible.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

game 7s is a crap shoot. I won't be surprised if the Cs win or if they get blown out

All the pressure is on Miami. Can Lebron do it again? Can Wade do it this time?

The Heat are the chosen ones. The Celtics are supposed to have failed to make the playoffs. Here we come Miami. Here we come.

In the game thread last night, "fans" we're already talking about next season and how they would be rooting for OKC in the finals. Those are the "fans" I'm talking about. Why accept defeat before it happens...the fans at the Garden didn't accept it and we shouldn't either.

just a little piece of advice. do not take everything in the game threads seriously. Everyone is emotional and upset and say things they do not mean. Like water off a ducks back.  ;D

Basically and their team not LeBron but team still hasn't done crap, they all looked bad Wade included. If anybody can stun them its us we sure as hell will not roll over if people think its already OKC/Heat no way too much heart and pride.

You want to know the "dirty little secret" about pessimistic fans, or fans known around these parts as "fake fans"?  Every time they say "it's over" or "we're done and washed up", it's nothing more than the coping mechanism we as humans have.

These fans are still real fans.  They just can't handle the despair that comes with losing.  Instead of allowing their hopes to be dashed they just never get their hopes up in the first place.

It is what it is though.  Personally, I rather feel the pain of the loss.  Because when the team does win, it feels that much sweeter.

To each their own though.  And I think I've finally reached a point where I no longer get angry when I see dismissive and pessimistic posts.  Different people handle situations differently.

I hope they come out and play this game like its their last because for KG it could be! I expect them to be at their best
