Lebron was on fire. Let's just get that out of the way. Just on fire. Pierce literally missed a ton of very makeable shots for him, and it really hurt the team. Lebron took many of the kinds of shots that we want him to take, but they just went in regardless.

The Celtics will win game 7, meanwhile Lebron will probably still be trying to beat the Celtics himself. That won't happen for him everynight, and even if it would happen for him every in game 7, the Celtics, particularly Pierce, will not have a game like that again where he just can't seem to make any shots.

The majority of the pressure in this series is now on Miami, in a way that it wasn't even in game 6. It would have been bad if Miami lost game 6 last night (for Miami), but it would be even worse if they lose game 7 on their home floor in Miami. The pressure is on the Heat. They were the team to go up 2-0, and who were expected to walk away with this series, but find themselves in a game 7 against a supposed "old and done" team. Celtics will rise to the occasion, and the Heat I believe will not.

Celtics will win Game 7. Remember I said this. I'm confident that this will be the outcome. Even with what Lebron did last night, it was our 1st quarter that really put us in a bad way. They outscored us by 10 in the first quarter. The Celtics were only outscored by 3 in the second, and both teams scored 19 points in the 3rd quarter.

If not for that lackluster first quarter, the Celtics are in this game, and who knows how it changes the flow of the game, or even the outcome. The Celtics on the road will have a laser like focus, and come out and get it done.

I hope they win. As for Pierce, he is shooting about 30 percent for the entire series. I hope he can find his shot one more time to get them to the finals.  Pierce is 39-113 in the series!

1) Rondo-KG cooperation should not be overlooked.
2) Bosh's real effect isn't his defense on KG. He is, alongside Haslem, is hurting us on boards. We were in trouble for much of the game in rebounding and that really had an effect on the outcome. Paul should be giving him a hand on that department.
3) Paul should keep attacking the basket. He isn't shooting efficiently from the floor, but he had good games in this playoffs by attacking the basket and getting to the foul line. Also, expect him to bounce back after his poor performance in game 6.
4) We have got to find a way to get more shots for Ray. He is moving a lot better off the ball and his shot seems to be close to its own mechanic. Also, he can always feed KG coming off the screen and making the direct pass.

These are my keys to Game 7. Nothing extraordinary. Pretty simple. Optimize the performance of your stars (mostly Rondo's job to manage the flow of the offense) and they'll be up for it.

The best part is we don't even need Pierce to have some historic night. Just have a notably better shooting performance than what he had in this game, and hit timely shots. Because if we are making up the difference elsewhere, then we don't need Pierce to be the leading scorer, far from it. Just hit timely shots that help the team in key moments during the game, and the rest will sort itself out.

If Lebron thinks that hero ball is a recipe for winning this series, then I think he will be proven wrong. What happens when he clanks one or two in a row off the front or back end of the rim, and the Celtics capitalize by scoring on the other end, possibly giving themselves a bit of a cushion?

And let's also keep in mind. This is the luxury of being up 3-2. Yes, you would have liked to have closed it out, but the Celtics' play is what allowed them to still be alive for one more game, just in case they needed it, and now the fruit of their labor has offered them this chance. I don't expect them to waste it.

This is the sort of thread i like to see.

Some of the so-called "fans" on this board should be ashamed of themselves.

Have a TP.

I believe they will win as well.

I think getting their asses handed to them at home will wake them up a bit.

I expect a collective effort Saturday night and much MUCH better defensive effort.

Yes they will.

They play better when their backs are against the wall.

If anything the pressure for Miami is bigger now, I believe. While the Celtics are once again playing on house money.

Game 7 on the road. I'm expecting a better effort from this team anything can hhappen.

BUT if we get past miami I'm not sure how we could possibly beat okc who right now are playing on a whole other level than even the heat

Miami didnt stop us on D last night - our poor shooting on OPEN shots did.  And bad turnvoers.  And fumbling passes.  And an other-worldly game from Lebron.

Nothing about Game 6 makes me think anything remotely close to Game 6 can or will happen again.  The series is definitely still in our favor, and I think we eke out a 5 point win.

LET'S GO CELTICS!!! LET'S GO CELTICS!!! LET'S GO CELTICS!!!

(and good job! good effort! to the heat)
