They've exceeded my expectations, so I'm not going to hold it against them if they lose Saturday, eventhough it seems entirely likely that will be the case.

This was a fun team to watch, unlike last year.

Hopefully they address their glaring deficiencies in the offseason.

Don't be depressed.  Most of us counted them out months ago.  Nothing but total pride in this team.  You couldn't have asked for more out of these guys.  Four of their players had season-ending injuries.  Ray Allen is still battling ankle spurs.  Paul Pierce still has a sprained MCL.  WE're going against the greatest player alive... our MVP is 36 years old... and yet we still managed to make it to the Eastern Finals and actually make a series out of it.  Nothing short of amazing.

We'll more than likely go down fighting in Game 7.  Probably lose by 8-15 points, but you'll get the sense that everyone on the team gave it their all... they just fell short.  And I'm ok with that.  The Oklahoma City Thunder are a different breed of team and I want no part in playing them.  Let the Miami Heat deal with them.  We'll have our graceful exit Saturday and nobody should hold it against Boston's overachievers for the loss... they will just commend them for pushing a better team further than they should have.

well said LarBrd33.

Before this series started a friend of mine asked me if I thought it would go 7 games....and my response was that if this series went 7 games, win or lose I would be SO proud of this team.  Theyre just so beat up and old.

Now that it is going 7 games, Ive become greedy, but I think the basketball gods arent gonna go any farther than granting me my original wish.

Very well said sir. WHile I am a bit disappointed, remember it's still not over yet.

WHatever happens Saturday, this proud bunch of warriors will be fighting, pushing and hustling till the very end. Whether it's a win or not remains to be seen, but Im happy with what team has accomplished.

Let's enjoy the ride and see what happens Saturday.

I felt so depressed too, mostly in the dying minutes of the game.  But that solid 4-minute "LET'S GO CELTICS!" chant in the final minute really turned that depression into appreciation and hope. If these Celtics were able to make us believers over these past few years, then they are the best team to face the Heat and Lebron at the peak of his game in Miami.

1.) Paul's nod - 0:57
2.) Doc's nod (according to Mike Breen) - 3:20
3.) Ray's nod - 3:40

It is so immensely difficult not to love this team. Let's go Celtics!

No reason for depression.  Game 6 just wasn't our night, and Lebron had a shooting performance he probably hasn't had more than a couple times in his life.  It happens, unfortunate it was Game 6 but it could have been Game 5 or 4.

We are going to Game 7.  One win away still, it is right there.  Nothing has changed.

You want no part of OKC? YOU MEAN YOU WOULD NOT RATHER A EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP and 3rd trip to finals in 5 years? That is just crazy talk man. You get there anything can happen. Look at this series. Yes, we may get run out the building by OKC but so what? at least we could try. That is a loser mentality, sorry.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Exactly TP nad I like our chances in game seven it will be even sweeter to beat them on their home court!

I'm hoping for a win...but I'm also realistic. Ray is hurt. Paul is hurt. Bradley is gone. Green was never here. We've exceeded expectations by so much even getting to Game 7 of the ECF. Grit and balls can get you only so far. Granted, I still think we can win...but if we lose, I can't be too mad. Bitter, yes, because if we had any one of those guys (Green, Bradley, healthy Pierce, healthy Ray), I think we would have already won.

I think we will win game 7 and will be pretty dissapointed if they don't.

Losing 3 series in the big 3 era when being up 3-2 and losing 2 of those series when you had a chance to close out at home would definitely be a black mark. Even with those 3 teams overachieving in the respective seasons it would be very dissapointing

Classy move by espn, as much as I hate them, to acknowledge the crowd and bring it to focus, even Breen, in the final minutes.
