The reality of game 6 is:

1) LeBron had an unbelievable night.
2) We missed many open shots
3) we had way too many turnovers
4) Pierce was in early foul trouble
5) Garnett, Pierce & Allen were off their game

I am guessing/hoping LeBron is not going to have a game like this in game 7. We just need to do a better job shooting and taking care of the ball and we should win game 7!

Watch out for the posters who are gonna count us out... but great post.. We sure as heck have a chance, and a pretty good one at that.

I never believe these kinds of threads.  To assume these things won't happen again is not based on anything of substance.  In favt, the only thing this shows is that it happened once so it can happen again.

Next game will start 0-0 and the best team that day wins, regardless of what happened today.

That was a beat down, but I agree, we have a good shot to take game 7.

Hats off to James for that performance.

If he is this hot ( not likely) no one can beat them.  The shots were falling for him.   Hopefully, this is a wakeup call for us.

Honestly this game changes nothing about what kind of team the Heat are even though pundits will furiously bandwagon jump. This is just LeBron having a once-in-a-hall-of-fame-career shooting effort that would have carried almost any supporting cast given the Twilight-Zone like night for their opponent. The performance from LeBron was so great that the Heat's issues disappeared into the background. If LeBron doesn't win two consecutive PowerBall drawings and the C's make some open jumpers Saturday we'll test whether or not the issues that led to 3 consecutive Heat losses have really been solved. This game tells us nothing.

TP.

LeBron can score 50 if he wants, this was all on the Celtics not playing their game. Turnovers, lack of execution, lack of urgengy.

This cannot happen again. Go Celtics!!

TP for this.  I agree with everything.  And would add that we need to raise our level of effort higher as well. I felt the C's get down on themselves a bit each time we would start to make a run.  There was too much frustration with LJ's unfathomable shooting which I think effected our effort.

We can't let our effort be controlled by what the other team does.  We need to dig deeper, find a way to get some momentum.
We can do it, we have done it before literally dozens of times.  We gotta find a way to do it on Saturday.  Go C's!!!!

The team over reacts to LeBron going off.

Throws the entire defense out of whack.

We lost this game. Remember this was still within reach at halftime even with a scorching hot LeBron. But when they keep onus song shots and turning the ball over, well there it is.

They will not play like this again on game 7.

Agreed!

The Celtics had 70 points with about 3 minutes left in the game.  No matter WHAT Lebron did tonight, Boston was not gonna win tonight's game with that kind of offensive output.
We all think we know more than we really do....
