Very true.  I know a lot of us were basically already celebrating a title when we went back to LA up 3-2 in 2010.  We still need to win another game.

I know! But yet I feel so greedy. After every win I'm like whoooooo now let's do it again. In 2010 I savored every win but not like this. This postseason I'm all gimme gimme gimme. As long as we play hard and smart from the tip I'll be OK with any outcomes. But really let's finish this tonight.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

If the Celtics don't win another game, knowing that they took the darlings of ESPN and Stern to 7 games is almost as good.

Sense of urgency anyone? This is literally the most important game since winning the 2008 title, because I truly believe this is the Big 3's last chance at a ring and if we lose, we don't have a chance in Game 7 which essentially closes the window for good. I hope the guys understand that!

I celebrated the game 5 victory for a minute or two, but ever since I woke up on Wednesday morning I've been in a state of constant anxiety.  It was like, "O.K. respect gained.  Now we actually have to go out and win this series."

Go get this done tonight, fellas!!!
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I have have some of the same feelings.  At first I was just glade to see us not get swept or embarressed by the Heat. Was just happy to have my team still playing.

Now that the Celtics have had sucesses ,  I find my self now not satisfied with just beating LBJ for the teams respect.,
I want the Celtics to take the series. And with that increased expectation,  I have become very anxious and fretted about tonights game. It was easier being a fan when you had small hope of great wins.

I just want to be done with Miami ...seems like we have played them 15 times this year  ::) I just want to be done with them and move on and see real basketball between two teams .

All the media Hype of LBJ is killing me. The game is about teams playing basketball , not just one man quest to win a ring. , Yet we are bombarded by everything is LBJ this and LBJ that...

hurry gametime.

I hope he cracks under the pressure....lord knows I'm about to.

I've had to remind myself several times to not look too far ahead, but it's so hard not to. I can TASTE the Finals ... come on, Cs, light 'em up tonight!!!

I feel the same way with your first part. At first I was just hoping to not get swept or lose in 5. After that game 5 win I've been excited and nervous waiting for tonight's game because now I can actually see them winning.
They have to play like this is a game 7 and that this is their last chance. They cannot play like 2010 where some felt they had two chances to win.

Game 7 in 2010 would like a word with you, also Game 6 is in line behind.

Agreed.   Let's just get through this game first.  I hope the C's come out on fire and dont let up. Plenty of time for rest later.

Toss it up let's see what happens. I don't think we'll lose 2 games. I'm just happy the team has some direction and a future.
