Some players I wouldn't mind Ainge trading both picks for:
Henson: At worst he's going to be a very good rebounder and excellent shotblocker, a shotblocker who also does a good job of avoiding fouls when challenging. What turned me into a big fan was that in addition to the big impact he has on defense, he finally showed that he could be a double digit scorer in the NBA last season. He's not getting enough credit for the vast amount of improvement he made offensively. I'd guess that about 95 percent of the jumpers and 80 percent of the hook shots he made in college came in his junior season. His mechanics, release and footwork are smooth, even beautiful, making me optimistic that his improvement was legitimate. He had the reputation as a good shooter and scorer in high school so his newfound scoring wasn't entirely out of the blue. He doesn't project to get a whole lot stronger because of his narrow frame and extreme lankiness but he has gotten stronger and he was a much sturdier post defender than Anthony Davis was.
Perry Jones: Because he's rightly or wrongly maligned for a lack of heart and motor, he's not a prospect many want to go to bat for but I wouldn't underestimate just how bad the coaching and point guard play was at Baylor. It was certainly frustrating tuning into Baylor games mostly to see Jones and watch him go long stretches without even touching the ball. Despite that, I liked how his reaction to finally getting the ball wouldn't be to automatically shoot but to survey the court and think both pass and shot. I liked the mindset, although it's also been used against him to support his passiveness.
On paper, he's got a bit or whole lot of Chris Bosh in him even though statistically and by the eye, he can't hold a candle to what Bosh did in his one year at Georgia Tech. But put them side by side, and you have two 6'11 dudes who are long, lanky, athletic and quick, who have a soft touch from 15-18 feet, who can play in the post and also put the ball down and drive. It's not impossible that Jones could develop into a Bosh clone in time. The players who even have that kind of potential don't come around often.
