Just wondering if there's a anybody you would trade both picks for projected in the 12-17 range (probably where we would end up trading to)

I love Leonard and Moultrie big time, Leonard will prob be gone by the time we pick at 21 but I'm praying moultrie slides down to us and we won't have to make a trade. The kids strengths are 3 of the celtics weaknesses, size, athleticism, and scorIng.

Would also strongly consider trading up for Ross, really think this kids gonna be a stud

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
2 picks + Bass + future picks for David Lee.  ;D (half meant)

Im fine with the picks we have, this is a very deep draft and having two prospects on this kind of talent pool is a good risk to take for the future.

2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

Drummond.

You really think he'll slide out of the top 8?

I don't think anyone in the 11-20 range is worth both of the 21, 22 picks. The talent looks relatively equally intriguing yet flawed from 11-24.

I would agree on Drummond if we could get up that high. But I would definitely go for Harrison Barnes if he was to drop to tge 8-12 range.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Harrison Barnes.

He's still young and will improve.

Would be a great fit next to Rondo.

I would say that moving up means going after a BIG such as leonard or someone who slides. The player to most likely slide is PJ3 who I think is worth trading up for, just to much potential to pass on especially with our coaching staff and getting the most out of players.  Barnes and Drummond have no shot of falling out of the top 10.. probably not past the top 8 and the 20's picks isn't getting us that high without adding in an additional future first rounder.

One guy I haven't seen anyone on here really posting about is Terrence Jones from Kentucky.. The dude balls hard and has a great face up game and has a solid nba body already who plays D. If we sit at 21 and 22 currently I think he is worth a look

I would consider it for Perry Jones or Jeremy Lamb, who have a good chance of dropping at least out of the top 10 (they are 12 and 13 in the latest Chad Ford mock draft). They both IMO are risks but have more star potential than anyone who will last past 20. I wouldn't mind moving up for Ross or Moultrie, but 21 + 22 seems a little steep to move up 5 or 6 spots.

Ive said this before but if T Zeller or Sullinger slide into trad-able range I'm all for trading up to get either of them.

Ross, but I think Danny will get two really good players if he stays at 21 and 22.

We also have JJJ and Moore that will have a year under their belt (plus a training camp).

Another guy who just knows how to win and should be looked at if we pick up an early 2nd rounder for some reason is Doron Lamb.  Would be a great scorer off the bench with nice range.

Some players I wouldn't mind Ainge trading both picks for:

Henson: At worst he's going to be a very good rebounder and excellent shotblocker, a shotblocker who also does a good job of avoiding fouls when challenging.  What turned me into a big fan was that in addition to the big impact he has on defense, he finally showed that he could be a double digit scorer in the NBA last season.  He's not getting enough credit for the vast amount of improvement he made offensively.  I'd guess that about 95 percent of the jumpers and 80 percent of the hook shots he made in college came in his junior season.  His mechanics, release and footwork are smooth, even beautiful, making me optimistic that his improvement was legitimate.  He had the reputation as a good shooter and scorer in high school so his newfound scoring wasn't entirely out of the blue.  He doesn't project to get a whole lot stronger because of his narrow frame and extreme lankiness but he has gotten stronger and he was a much sturdier post defender than Anthony Davis was.

Perry Jones: Because he's rightly or wrongly maligned for a lack of heart and motor, he's not a prospect many want to go to bat for but I wouldn't underestimate just how bad the coaching and point guard play was at Baylor.  It was certainly frustrating tuning into Baylor games mostly to see Jones and watch him go long stretches without even touching the ball.  Despite that, I liked how his reaction to finally getting the ball wouldn't be to automatically shoot but to survey the court and think both pass and shot.  I liked the mindset, although it's also been used against him to support his passiveness.

On paper, he's got a bit or whole lot of Chris Bosh in him even though statistically and by the eye, he can't hold a candle to what Bosh did in his one year at Georgia Tech.  But put them side by side, and you have two 6'11 dudes who are long, lanky, athletic and quick, who have a soft touch from 15-18 feet, who can play in the post and also put the ball down and drive.  It's not impossible that Jones could develop into a Bosh clone in time.  The players who even have that kind of potential don't come around often.
