They are due.  Can't really see Miami losing 4 games in a row.  Not with that kind of talent.  A lot of you guys believe the refs fix games so you must assume this series will be stretched to 7....  Bosh will probably get more minutes (he seemed to make an impact ... 9 points 7 rebounds in 12 minutes)...   Then once we get to game 7 in Miami we'll probably break down and fall to the King.   LeBron/Wade vs Durant/Westbrook is the series the NBA obviously wants.... seems destined to happen.

As proud as I am of the Celtics for getting this far, I'm still operating under the assumption that they will choke this 3-2 lead like they choked in 2009 against Orlando and 2010 against the Lakers.   Is what it is.

I haven the exact same thought, but the difference in the 3 are, against Orlando and LA, game 5 was won at home. And game 6 and 7 were away losses (besides the game 7 loss at home vs Orlando)

Against MIA, we won game 5 away. Hopefully we can close this out on thursday!

They are due.
Please. Last time I checked, the team that wins is the one with more points on the board at the end of regulation or OT. The only thing that Miami is due, is a chance to win the game. We're not drawing Skittles out of a sock, here, we're not "due" to see a red one just because it's been green for a while.

Well, as long as the officiating doesn't take this into account, I'm good.

Reffing has been fair the last few games - some called for BOS - some for MIA.

None of this lopsided mess we've seen before.

A fairly-reffed game will prove that The Boston Celtics are the better team.
If people who use refs as an excuse say games are called fairly, that usually just means that either:

1 - their team won
2 - their team got the better end of more missed calls

So what flavor are you?

You believe that BOS got a glut of good calls vs MIA?

Nice to see you continusing the reverse jinx from yesterday.  I believe it was yesterday that you claimed the Celtics were gonna get blown out in Game 5.

Hope lightning strike twices.

didnt Orlando/LA tie up the series on their home courts?

this is abit different considering game six will be in Boston...but keep doubting this team.

They did.

12 teams have come back from down 2-0 (as the road team) to win three straight in the ECF HHAAHAH format. Five have closed out the series in 6 at home, 7 have lost game 6 and all 7 of those teams lost game 7 on the road.

Teams winning game 5 typically win the series, but the C's can't afford to go on the road for game 7, there just isn't much history of success for road teams in that situation.

Certainly stands to reason that they'd be the favorite since they've been outplayed 16 of the 22 periods.

i just think at this point after 3 wins we are a confident team, and the way KG and the C's are playing they are out for blood. we "could" lose tomorrow but to say "oh the heat are due for a win" is kind of rediculous..this isnt a game of "odds"

you cant discount the mental aspect of the game either and right now we are in Miami's Heads...remember the last time Lebron faced us in game 6 in Boston?

Then again, you couldn't see Miami losing 3 games in a row, and you couldn't see them losing 2 games in a row.

No one is due for anything.  Each game is a new adventure. Lebron and wade combined for 57 points last night and they still lost. Rondo, Pierce, and Allen combined for 11-43 nd the Heat still lost. If Rondo comes to play, Celts will win.

This team doesn't have a great record in terms of closing out a series. Morever, there is also precedent with this team losing a home game after winning on the road.

I suppose that could possibly explain why Miami is favored.
I'm quite restless about the outcome of tomorrow's game as if they lose, we're likely screwed...
