We've got a battle ahead of us.  These same guys wrote us off.

Don't bury a team until they're dead.

Credit the Celts for huge efforts in the last 3 games, but don't call the Heat chokers or underachievers until the Celtics win a clincher.

GO CELTS!
Yup

I agree. The minute those phonies pick a team as good, I start to worry. They were (bandwagon) obsessing over the Spurs after game 2... and now the Spurs are down 2-3 in the series. And we all know how they feel about the Heat...

National media types are frontrunners and for good reason: They don't want to be embarrassed by picking the wrong team.  They need to be enthusiastic about the winner, whoever it is.  Chumps.

Exactly.

I'm sure MIA will put up quite the fight on Thursday...I'm sure Spoelstra will be reminding them of how they were down 2-1 vs Indy...I'm also sure that Bosh plays more - even starts.

With that being said - no way that Rondo goes 2-13 or whatever he shot again, nor will our Captain go 6-19 again.

BOS will be ready. They know what's in front of them.

Yeah the Heat are a good enough team to win two in a row to still make the Finals.

The C's need to take care of this at home.

Don't worry.

By the time predictions come out tomorrow, according to the media:

:  Lebron will rise up and kill the Celtics
:  Wade will rise up and kill the Celtics
:  Bosh's return will kill the Celtics
:  They will kill the Celtics to save their coach
:  The Celtics are old and tired
:  The Celtics will have a let down.
:  God loves the Heat
:  Stern (the other NBA god) will send his special officials.

And more then 60% will pick the heat.

On a side note, everybody is glad handing me at work for the great win last night. So we won a big game...... Only Five more Big Game victories remain to accomplish a real Career Goal.

I start at 0 0 on Thursday 5:30 pm (Pacific Time of course).

This team is built for championships.. Last night was nice, Thursday will be even nicer if they win, but there are some very, very good teams left in these playoffs (including the Heat) and there is a lot of work to do.  Go C's!

I don't think they wrote them off, just heavily criticized them for not winning what is arguably a must-win game on their home court.

Most of them will pick the Heat to win Game 6, because they have to, it makes their job easier, assuming the Heat are just that much better than the Celtics, should win every game, then criticize them when they lose.

Not Liking the ESPN Guys Writing the off

Not so much writing them, but overreacting as usually. This is ESPN, and they constantly obsess over anything Miami says, does or doesn't. It's annoying mostly. ESPN, might be writing off Miami off, but I'm sure the Celtics aren't. ESPN, is noise machine and I'm not trying to hear them.

This group(our guys) HAS had trouble getting that 4th win. But TONS of trouble on the road and minimal at home. Indeed I don't think weve lost a home game that was an opportunity to win the 4th game as long as KG has been on the floor. Im worried too but our guys should have a little edge. They won't be overconfident. Its all we can do is hope the refs are fair and our guys come out  steady and strong.

Game 4 in 2010 vs Orlando for the sweep.  Of course they ended up winning Game 6 at home in a must win situation.

Celts have been amazingly level headed since Game 1.  They clearly relish the mental edge they have over Miami.

Agreed - Last time they did it was in the Philly series when we were winning big at the half only to allow the Sixers to come back and beat us. Magic was braggin on the Celts telling Miami "This is how you handle your business...take note Miami(series against the Pacers when they were down 2-1).

Well, Miami went on to dispose of Indy in six while we struggled with Philly to seven.

PLEASE don't sweat us now! Keep praising Lebron and his band of Merry(Chris Bosh?)men  ;D
