Can't argue with it. Both have decent upside, ability to contribute something immediately, high character, and work ethic.

It's kinda the best compromise when everything is factored in.

Not the highest risk, but high risk is how teams fall from contention. No need to rebuild with LeBrondo on the roster.

I'd be fine with that.

makes sense if a legit big man isn't available (Fab Melo is NOT a legit big man --> has bust written all over him)

I dont see a legit big who is worth being a 1st rd pick being there at 21. Unless leonard falls but I expect him to actually surprise people with how high he goes.

At least Nicholson has the length to play some spot minutes at center.

I'd take Moultrie, but I suspect he'd be gone.  My guess is that Danny moves up to make sure he gets a big guy who's worth it.

I agree, with all of the talk about teams trading off their picks its almost a guarantee that Danny moves up, whether that be for Leonard or someone who starts to fall from the top 12ish (looking at you perry jones).  But with that said, I've read some comments and reports about Moe and the dude sounds like he has a pretty high ceiling with solid defense.. and he was playing out of position on st. johns as a PF.

Harkless and if he is there, Tony Wroten Jr. Would love those picks. I hear that Nicholson was just lighting it up from outside today at a workout.

I find it interesting that Ford has Harkless going to us at 21. He seems to have a relationship with Ainge, he has quoted him in the past and seems to at least get a bit more info on what they may do. He has had Nicholson going to the C's for a while, Harkless is a new development.

I'd had my heart set on getting Moultrie, as an actual 7-footer with athleticism and some shooting range, but doesn't seem likely he'll still be around. I like what I read about both those guys. Nicholson looks mean on his ESPN pic, I like that.

Draft is Thursday June 28.
Go Celtics.

Getting Andrew Nicholson will be terrific!!!
I don't like Harkless because of his average shooting!
I would rather package that pick plus Paul Pierce and get Harrison Barnes!!
Dont know if it's doable but if it is, and Danny somehow pull it off it would be the perfect bridge to rebuilt while remaining competitive!

Completely disagree. Barnes is the most overrated player in this draft, one I'm betting disappears entirely in the association.

Trading Pierce to move up to get him would be an abomination worthy of terminating Ainge immediately.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
