My wife's sister is getting married on Saturday night! Can anyone top that? Both my wife and her sister are big Celtics fans, but this is at a venue where I don't think there are going to be any TVs. Clearly, they need to wrap it up in 6.

Do they not have plugs? Bring a tv.

So my wife let me off the hook for tonight.  She figured I simply would not be able to function if I took her out tonight and missed the game (as it turns out, we were having a hard time finding a place to go to that wouldnt have a TV on).

In return, I am driving to one of her favorite places and picking up some food for her, which I will deliver with flowers.

Now hopefully the C's can take of the next two games so's I won't have to worry about Saturday  ;)

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
I'm going to be flying to visit family on Saturday, so if a Game 7 occurs, I will miss it.  :'(

I'm going to have my uncle call me as soon as I land to tell me the score of the game, though.  It's going to be the longest plane ride of my life!

Divorce averted ;D You owe her one.

Yeah, I am hoping to give her the one after the game  ;D.

But in all seriousness, she recognized that no matter how much I may have tried, there was no way I was going to be able to be with her and not be thinking about the game.  It simply was not going to be possible.
